The word ALLAH is made of two words. 1. Al. 2. ilah. Al+ilah = Allah. Meanings of the two words : Al means THE (definite article) and ilah = worthy of worship. When we put both together it becomes ALLAH. Finally the Arabic word ALLAH means THE ONLY ONE WHO IS WORTHY OF WORSHIP. Now, compare this with the names of God in any other scriptures. This is the best and widest in its meaning. It is not punishment but a test to make us to learn. It is experience by which we learn.
