CADASIL is a rare neurological condition that is often misdiagnosed since many of its early symptoms mimic more common ailments, including multiple sclerosis. In this interview, Swati Sathe, MD, of the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, explains how and why CADASIL is commonly misdiagnosed.
