This is one of the WORST speed traps in N.C. The speed limit goes from 55 down to 25 in just a few hundred feet. I know the cross walks need to be safe but they could give a bit more distance to adjust speed. This is one of those "Blink and you miss it" little towns where the only revenue comes from the "blue light special"........They ain't too friendly either....... I was stopped for 29 in a 25 and the guy acted like I had robbed fort knox. My job no longer requires me to go that way and I am so glad.
