Went on holiday many times on the Duke of Lancaster as a kid. Used to ply the route from Belfast to Heysham and was British Rail so my dad got us cut price crossings then discounted trains right down to Cornwall or IoW Many happy memories meeting up with the relatives. I remember the big (mock) fireplace on the main staircase. Visiting my daughter when she was at Chester uni we took a run down to Mostyn one weekend to see the ship but got nowhere near it.😢 Agree with the footwear, socks a must for me too. 😂
If ya run out of ideas of places to go , try CAMP SNOWDONIA TAN AELDROCH FARM near betws y coed , it’s an almost wild ,back to mature sight , right next to a gorgeous river very informal and relaxed around 10 a night in an honesty box , it’s like one step up from wild camping .
And me, I didn’t c them either 🤷♀️ apparently there’s a chance of seeing them again tonight (17/5). I said to Wayne……you could come here for a few nights for a break from the renovations…….he said you’d be really miserable then 🤣😂 Seriously though….you’re more than welcome 😊
🤣 I’m sure I wouldn’t be that miserable! I might hold you to that. Me n Ste are going camping next week then the week after I’m crewing at Vanlife Festival but I may head over to you after that if you’re around. I’m glad I’m not the only one who didn’t see the lights - I was soooo annoyed! How was Portugal? I bet you’ve got a video about it actually - I’ll go take a look 😄
I’ve done a ‘series on Portugal’ although we had issues with the mics….🤞 it’s sorted now we’re back. Me & Zoe are away from 11th June till 19th (In kos) & away in van from 28th May - 2nd June other than that you’re welcome anytime 😊
