I broke down in tears. Misha is the best example of how humanity should be. After everything bad that happened to him and he just keeps helping. Even with all the bullying, and mocking, and misfortune he had in life, he just wants to make the world better place. That's why we love Misha.

I think years and years later , the next generation will remember misha collins as : The man who saved Humanity.

He started talking about his last story, and about how his "teacher" ran that radio station- and all I can think of is the story about how he was a huge radio nerd and his wife took him to public radio headquarters as a present when they were teenagers one time and how much that gift meant to him. And now I think we all know why

He makes jokes about his childhood and what hes been through but you can tell deep down he had such a bad past with different reasons. He's doing what he does best and acts that his childhood was more positive than it really was..

as someone with a fucked up past but is constantly trying to make people smile and be happy, there’s something about having gone through something tough that makes you a more understanding person if you let it. i have mad respect for this man, he could be an angry person, or still be homeless or something, but no, he’s hilarious and kind and all of that

What a lovely person he is. I too (with my little brother) lived semi-homeless as a kid. I'm so glad that he and his sibs had a good mom and a kind surrogate grandfather. You can see it in how wonderful he is with his kids.

that last one really got me. just the kindness and generosity of that man to misha and his younger brother, and to other boys before them, years back. and it hurt to hear what misha went through- i too have an absentee father (more emotionally than physically at first, he was an alcoholic, but he is pretty disappeared now) and i also realise how fucking lucky i am. i think about it fairly often- if it weren't for my grandparents having a spare room to open their house to my mom and i, if it weren't for my aunt letting us live at her place while she was away under such short notice, my mom and i would've been homeless. it hits me sometimes, realising that if i didn't have a supportive family living nearby, i would be in a very very different place, and it makes me unbelievably sad that there are others, like misha, who weren't as lucky. it's also very comforting to see someone who had it just so bad rise to the top as he did and become the most amazing person he is today. wow emotional but i mean this video was too. it's something else, huh. absolutely adore misha and all he's done for people and the world 💞

Fun fact, Misha in Russian means Teddy Bear. This is because back in the old days, Russians were terrified of bears, so terrified that they were the Voldemort of animals, the "he who must not be named" creatures. So instead saying it's name "meedvetd" they would call bears a softer, more cuter word "misha" so the bears wouldn't get empowered by the name, since it's too cute of a name to empower anyone. Misha is a nickname for Russians who are named Mikhail, but like Bobs who are not called Robert, some rouge Mishas exist. (nother fun fact, if you say "Castiel" in Russian, it kinda sounds like "ate bones once")

I was bullied all through years/grades 3 to 6 without prompting and it brought out the aggression in me more than once. It broke my spirit a thousand times over and now that I've got my confidence back, hearing Misha's stories has made me realise that anybody can be brave and fight, even if they don't use their fists.

I just started watching panel vids and i love misha panels. hearing that last story just hits me like i know he jokes how similar cas is to him but when i think about it, they truly are the same essence. No mater what cas had been through he remains hopefully and has purity of love to him, risk everything to do something to help someone and that's the same with misha. makes me love cas and misha more.
