Miss 1 skillcheck = 40 seconds wasted 😵 | Dead by Daylight 

I actually went up against a Doctor who had Merciless Storm and I learned something: If you are affected by his power, one of the effects is that skill checks occasionally go the opposite direction, and with Merciless Storm every one of those continuous skillchecks changed the direction of the skillcheck and location, making it basically impossible to hit all of them.

I love it when Otz records a match outside of streams- it feels much more personal and direct to the YT audience, and as someone who can rarely ever catch Otz live, I think that’s great

If you didn’t know, pain res also will make the progress go down, meaning you have to hit merciless for a long time if the timing is right

FUN FACT: if scourge hook: pain resonance is activated while merciless storm is active, it will regress the gen and continue the skill checks for the remainder of the gen. This happens because scourge hook no longer kicks you off the gen when it explodes and the developers did code the perk to stop until the gen is completed or a skill check is missed.

Oh my Dredge, I was doing the exact same build with my Freddy for the last days :D well, i run Lullaby, Undying, Pentimento and Merciless, plus the dress and pencil add-ons. I have to say, survivors often said it was "disgusting and annoying to play against" XD I'm so proud to have made a build so close to one of Otz's builds in his videos :D Love you Otz. I never comment, but you were the one that made me play killer when i began the game (Deathslinger era ^^). Literally, I completely forgot that Freddy was a killer in this game. Theres so little gameplay that he's the only killer that I don't know its power (I don't play the game so Ive understood each killer by looking at ur videos and other peoples videos) Edit: he's just a worse Doctor that can teleport

i found this build a while back i really liked it it didn’t have merciless storm because it wasn’t out yet and instead of unnerving or tinkerer it had overcharge for even more regression

Truly a unique build. That totem spot was incredibly unlucky though, build would've been straight up nasty if they hadn't found it so early.

You know what my favorite thing about this new big patch is? From my experiences the entire mood has shifted. All of my games win or lose have been way more positive, and also now people are coming up with builds like what Otz has done here! And maybe it's just me but he seems to be having a lot of fun, and I'm kinda glad to see that the overall intensity of higher level play doesn't have to be laser focus all the time. A lot of words to say it just seems like people are having way more fun, and that's so cool

Otz first I would like to thank you for all of the content you have provided me and many others with and helping me getting better In dbd as a killer, but since we are talking about killers I would like to propose a build that has definitely been though about and probably used, but will be better now since the new 6.1.0 patch. It's the ultimate m1 killers build, including in it: -Save the best for last -Bamboozle -Enduring -Brutal strength (or maybe fire up, but I would say brutal is better) I have thought about which killers could be the best with this build from the mostly only m1 killers and I have 3 suggestions: 1.Trapper with whatever add ons 2.Wraith with either speed add ons to move quickly around the map or with the "shadow dance" add ons to make it even more ridicules or even a combination of the purple "shadow dance" add on and the "The serpent "-soot one for a devastating combo. 3.Meyers with the Vanity mirror and the dead rabbit for a good combination of info and strength in chase. If you've read this thank you for doing so and can't wait for the next video to come out whenever it may be.

Heya Otz, I thought up a killer build I'd like to see you try. Scourge Hook: Monstrous Shrine - Survivors hooked on scourge hooks will progress 20% faster if the killer is not within 24 meters. Hex: Third Seal - After you hit each survivor once they well be unable to see auras (including the hooked survivor aura) Agitation/Iron Grasp/Mad Grit - Whichever perk you prefer to use to increase your odds of reaching a Scourge Hook. Free Slot - Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance, Whichever Carry perk you didn't pick, Hex: Undying, or a custom preference (I insist on using Shadowborn). The overall idea is that you use the Trapper or Twins to place a beartrap or Victor over your Hex: The Third Seal totem to guard it for as long as you can. Then hit everyone once, go for downs and start hooking survivors on scourge hooks. The Monstrous Shrine effect makes each sacrifice go from 2 minutes to 1 minute 36 seconds total. It might be a fun build to incorporate a Scourge Hook, Hex, and normal perks all into one build as killer.

That staple pre drop vs Freddy is the reason I always run brutal strength on him and after the update it's even nastier

I’ve had fun w a build with this same idea as artist. I have been using Tinkerer, Merciless Storm, DMS, and The third Seal but im sure that can be changed And I might try with Lullaby. My idea has been to use a bird with tinkerer and then by the time the cooldown is done and I am waking over I can send another bird to make them either injured for greeding or they let go and trigger Merciless and sometimes I can get the hit and down as well. It works very effectively and DMS makes it worse

Btw I was thinking of a build with the perk that destroys totems that are booned and pentimento, I think it would work really well. You are more incentive to break boons, get a 30% slow down and you can see people's aura!

I didn't think it was possible, but of course otz managed to make a non pallet freddy build that looks fun

I love creative builds like that, actually makes the game more interesting than seeing everybody using the same meta builds over and over again. I guess the problem with this particular one is that it relies heavily on survivors missing skillchecks, so it's not really consistent. Still, seems very cool, I'll have to try it out

Otz I would love to ask if you may try out a fun build I've been using with ghostface. It's a sneak attack build. It's call of brine, brutal strength, dragons grip, trail of torment. It super satisfying to trick survivors into stopping a regressing trapped Gen. I've been a fan of your gameplays for a couple of years now. Your a talented player. Thank you for all the content. I look forward to the rest of your content to come. Even if you don't see this or try it out , it's an honor.

Side note, I really like doing this build but with Oppression and BBQ instead of Tinkerer and Merciless. Its surprisingly easy for Freddy to defend a totem on his own so as long as they don't cleanse Lullaby in the first minute then you're usually set to have it up most of the game.

I was using this build when sadako came out, it was a blast actually. it is very good, i usually use opression or overcharge. opression is a better choice

I actually made a impossible skillcheck build for doctor including Unnerving presence Overload Merciless storm Caulrophobia (Replaceable with Lullaby) Also the "Calm" addons which increase the Terrorradius if the static blast is up This was absolutly nuts! I got everybody injured and on small maps ( I played on Saloon which i would call average huge) its nearly impossbile to heal so they stayed injured to get at least 2 gens done by the time I killed off 2 people. I let the Claudette and Jake out and watched them healing either theireselfes or each other. Claudette needed whole 3 minutes to heal herself with selfcare cause medkit was already out of charges. Jake did 2 Generators in this time. It was hilarious! xD

IIRC the aura read on dresses does not stack, meaning that it's cheaper to use Wool Shirt and Blue Dress.

Question if you bring septic touch (snuffing a blessed totem will break the totem) can you get a pentimento out of it?

Very nice OTZ once again you made another bad build that only works on bad survivors like the ones in this video. Me as a Freddy main will never use a build this useless on Freddy the only good perk in this build is Merciless Storm. I have never seen survivors fail so many skill checks in one match. No Toolboxes, no Prove Thy Self, No Off The Record, No Were Gonna Live Forever, not even a DS. This was nothing more than a pub stomp. I admit OTZ you are the King of beating on bad players with bad builds like this video.

You should try hex plaything with pentimento. I also use pain resonance, and gift of pain to slow their healing and gen repair speed, With plaything they are easily breaking all 5 totems. I normally wait till around three playthings are destroyed before I relight totems. I’ve gotten 5 totems relit multiple times.

I wanna see a doctor impossible skill check video from the Survivor's perspective, all the current ones just show the killer side which doesn't show the actual impossible skill checks
