it is an underrated movie. in fact this was the only 80s romantic comedy i watched for the first time in the late 90s

One of the greatest movies from the 80's !!!!

This movie will remain the most adorable thing to me and I got to say I feel myself enchanted but kind of vulnerable watching it.. the soundtrack is priceless including The Hardest Walk and of course the fantastic March Violets. The flame still burns in 2021 !

Still loving this Movie in 2017 😊 Quality soundtrack and great actors made this movie a classic from the 80s which stands the test of time and is far far superior to Pretty in Pink for me.

I was watching SKOW for the umpteenth time and for some reason on the latest watch, this song really jumped out at me and pricked my ear. 1:35 through 1:48 gave me those "eargasm" chills.

Great song. Great movie. How many of us lived this, but didn't have the guts to tell the guy we loved him? Then many years later we meet up on the internet and figure out we both had feelings and neither spoke up. And it hurts as much as it did then? Good thing this movie had a very happy ending. Genius choice of songs for the soundtrack.

This movie has an amazing soundtrack, and is just really underappreciated among 80's teen films otherwise as well. Probably because of it being somewhat of a redo of Pretty in Pink, but IMO SKOW is clearly the better movie of the two.

I Didn't make this Connection Back in the Day. It took Until June 7, 2023? Miss Amanda Jones has so Many Similarities to Rip Her to Shreds by Blondie Circa 1973(?) Or was that 2? Both being Such ICONIC Songs in their Own Right! Keep On! My Fellow Old School Rockers! Git Yer Ass Out of THAT Chair! I Said Nothing about a Rocking Chair!!!! I mean Really? Some People's Kids.....

That's a really old Stones song off what album I don't remember-a "B Side." I don't think they wrote it-was probably Chuck Berry or some other black American artist.

John Hughes is very average. The movie is slightly above-average. The soundtrack is a little better than slightly above-average but could have been much better.

i do not at ALL, NOT FEELIN THIS VERSION,but the guy seein'it in the show.the movie version was SO great, but this version i pass... love lea thompson with eric s. in some kind of wonderful,great movie so good so 80s great decade, definitely great movies,cheesie to some,but most love em. i actually like him with lea character,cute sweet amanda,the "popular 1"but also happy he end up where he belong,the less-girlie tomboy regular type chick lol they were some how a"better"fit! adios...
