Even if she and her sisters were not locked up they probably would still have been hostile. They did kill one guy during the hour of my probably because he was a cruel mean superior that was harsh to childern. The miss delights of course are not allowed to stop him because that man probably had authority over them and the chikdern. But when the hour of joy happen noticed how miss delight and her sisters only went after one man who as I said probably was a harsh mean manager that had no authority in the end. Maybe Miss delight and her sisters might not have gone insane in fact if they still got hungry better the food ran out they probably target other toys working together to overcome anyone. That means the player character have to out smart I don't know how many miss delights their are. But woot of them.
for people saying she's a menace and stuff, don't forget that the notes in the school say the other teachers/her sisters were going to kill her (either by eating her instead or letting her starve to deth) which caused her to create Barb and then go crazy and kill and eat them instead. It's safe to assume she was a very kind and helpful teacher to the children prior to The Hour of Joy and the event that i just explained
