So, I ended up with a WW2 impression M42 jacket, the company that says its the most accurate authentic etc etc. Heard it all before haven't we... so lets compare it against two different original M42s, an At The Front jacket and I have my SOF one to hand also.
Lots of ranting, lots of points raised. It has 'A' good point and lots of negatvies. Now you might just be thinking I am picking holes in stupid shit... but this is supposed to be the best, most accurate, most authentic, so shouldn't things like the small details matter? If they don't then why do people spend 3 times the money on this over others?
To the WW2Impression 'fanbois' out there, I'm sorry (not actually sorry) but you won't like this video, so don't watch it, you can stamp you're feet all you like. You try and make excuses, but even if this isn't the current run of their jackets, it was once and they still copied this from an original... albeit possibly with their eyes closed.
Oh well, another for a box that won't be worn... or will it....
