Nafisa was only 18 when she enter in miss India contest. She is into modelling since 12 and that experience and prasad bidapa training worked very well for her and that tie breaker question where she choose president Abraham Lincoln made her win so easy.
Absolutely right. Few judges who are Non-Asians doesn't like asian contestants to win at all that too a power house country like India in 1990s and early 2000s. Due to those idiotic and insensible judges, the deserving candidates are getting robbed off all the time.

I don't know about her winning or makkng it to finals but what I know is she was really beautiful.. Sad she ended her life.. I used to find her very attractive
RIP, Nafisa was good, but not all that beautiful. She had a bad gown that evening, which is why she failed to make it to the Top 6. She finished 10th and didn't really impress at all in Miss Universe!

R.I.P Nafisa, but she killed herself. so thats not something to grieve about. she seemed to be in a hurry and lets get done with it attitude. she finished her 2nd answer quickly. she could've said that's it or something nice to bring her answer to a nice ending. thats why she lost and her bad gown makes it even worse.
