Rest in peace Samantha Schubert Miss Malaysia/Universe 1991. You were one of the most gorgeous Miss Malaysia to have wore the crown. So sad to hear that you lost your battle to cancer at age 47. I still remember taking a beautiful photo with you just a few years after you won the title . I was only 9 years old then.

Malaysia should try to send their Malay candidates. Its a very big ticket as their looks just exotic and very good looking. But from what i heard Malay ethnic was banned to join the competition in their country as they were Muslim. No swimsuit round. so my suggestion myb can try the non muslim Sabah/Sarawak ethnic as their appearances also same as Malay/SouthEast look

I believe she has never represented Malaysia at any international beauty pagent level. As the person who made this video i would just like to tell you that i have the highest respect for other races, culture and religion. If you were to properly look closely Deborah Henry is in the video. And i am very much supporting this year's representative from this country Thanuja Ananthan who is in fact a pure Indian. All the best to her. Im sure she can repeat what Deborah did and go even further.

My choice : 1. Miss Josephine Lena Wong ( Top 5 in Miss Universe 1970 ). Such demure natural beauty. 2. Cik Putih Naziaddin ( Didn't compete in Miss Universe 1976 coz M'sia boycotted the event. Would have gone far if entered. 3. Rahima Orchient Yahya ( Top 3 in Miss World 1994 ). Eventual winner is none other than Aiswarya Rai.

Yes,Miss Rahima from malaysia tapi bukan dari Sarawak or kota kinabalu tapi dari TAWAU,Sabah..skang dah jadi pengarah urusan syarikat beliau sendiri, berkahwin dengan seorang lelaki berbangsa cina dan mempunyai 2 orang anak lelaki. Orangnya memang merendah diri dan sampai sekarang still maintain body dan memang tinggi orangnya..cuma sekarang kurus sikit..dan pembetulan, beliau belum bertudung..pokok pangkal..STILL STUNNINGGGGGGG...!

The reason why Malaysian delegates have not excelled well in the Miss Universe competition is because they give much PRIORITY to MISS WORLD compared to MISS UNIVERSE. It has always been like that. They always send THE WINNER OF MISS MALAYSIA to MISS WORLD and the runner up for MISS UNIVERSE.

@call0126244168 Its called editing my dear elderly friend. It's a compilation not a recording of one sitting if you noticed that. If your referring to that particular moment when LINA TEOH was answering her question the original clip of that footage was dubbed GERMAN and you can't hear what she was originally saying so i found it inappropriate thus the use of the background music. Thanks for watching anyway. Appreciate it.

@hawasama09 itulah apa yg I maksudkan...pertandingan ratu cantik yg berprestij spt Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss Earth dsbg sebenarnye merupakan satu platform yg agak sesuai utk wanita Melayu buktikan kpd dunia bhw masyarakat Melayu amat menitikberatkan nilai2 kesopanan & kesusilaan dlm kehidupan seharian, selaras dgn kemajuan terutamanye dr segi ekonomi dan politik... pertandingan ratu cantik ni bukan setakat menilai kecantikan fizikal shj...

I WISH THAT MALAYS ARE ALLOWED TO JOIN BEAUTY PAGEANT AGAIN; NOT TRYING TO QUESTIONING ANY RULES, IT JUST THAT, CHANCES FOR MALAYSIA TO BE CROWNED IS HIGHER, WE HAVE SO MANY CHINESE LOOKS REPRESENTATIVES FORM OTHER COUNTRIES. AND THERE ARE NOT MANY INDIANS REP. TOO FOR MALAYSIA.
