Completely baffled by people complaining about the vocals. If you watch any live Miss May I videos or if you've ever seen them live, you could easily tell that this is by far the best both Ryan and Levi have ever sounded live. They've massively stepped up their game.
How are people saying that they sound bad o.O They sound fucking immense, especially considering that earlier in the show they were having tech issues, plus it was 35 degrees celcius and literally the sweatiest venue I've ever been to. They're obviously not going to sound exactly like the album but from the 3 times I've seen them live this was the best they've ever sounded. Sometimes I feel like people are either expecting perfection or complain simply for the purposes of gaining likes.
People complaining about how its not sounding like it does on the record. And they are right...its not the record. Its a live show. Adrenaline, nerves, weather, venues, etc all have a factor. Was this the end of the set and there voices are shot? Who cares. Its live. They are human and have bad shows. Its not a easy profession or life style. I thought it sounded fine and enjoyed it.
Alexander Buhaj I dont understand the comparison ? Slipknot mainly play open air festivals and have a shit ton of cash for production, whereas MMI are a small band in comparison and playing a show in terrible conditions. Fuckin amazing effort considering.
MISS MAY I is! such a crushingly fucking awesome/good band as well as live!!!! Last night @ Stage A E in Pittsburgh, Pa. i saw MISS MAY I, THE AMITY AFFLICTION, & MOTIONLESS IN WHITE (headlined). MISS MAY I totally crushed it in a great/awesome way & do it every friggin' time they hit that stage (I've seen them live twice so far) So, if ? Anyone whom reads this comment ..... Dude the Vocals are so fucking sick. Stop bitching about it levi is one of the best and charismatic singer if it comes to playing live and in the studios. Saw them this Year after they toured through whole Europe and they still sounded like it was their first gig in this Tour.
It sucks they didnt post a different song. Dont get me wrong i love this song but theres already two good live vids of it. I wouldve liked to hear one of the new songs
I never realized how much Levi's voice is just like the rest of ours in the music video it actually sounds like he is screaming but when it's live it sounds like he is trying to hawk up snot no offence still my favorite song
***** I know progression, and theirs is shit. Levi's voice is shot. He sounds shit on Rise of The Lion. Apologies was amazing, and Monument was great as well, just not nearly as good. At Heart was mediocre, and Rise of The Lion is just flat out awful. Oh they've been progressing all right, progressing into shit.

This band is very good live seen them several times and yes they do need a better clean singer still levi's voice is killer and has a very strong fan base
