She not going to eat every thing but milk for awhile or needs milk more till she is a little older!Know you will take exceptionally good care of her you are so loving! There is plenty of time to put them together !poor goat was not loved like you all love animals!
Molly is gorgeous. Oh I'm so happy you got your new baby Molly. What a big surprise and and another new beautiful goat that Pawpaw gave you. This dream of yours will be a great advernture the Farmers Market. I know it will be a great success. Thankyou for sharing Molly.
Congratulations Kim! I had a Erica , named after Eric Burden of the Animals. I raised her as a 4 H project and showed her at the San Francisco Cow palace. She was from a great line of Holstein and I won blue ribbons. Her personality was the best. I use to lay with her in the pasture and read! Enjoy Molly! Will enjoy watching you and Molly's journey.
I was given Two Holstein Heifer calves By my Grandpa and I bottled feed them and one had a baby and the other never got to have a baby (She was Sterile) so she was sent to the Auction Barn to be sold. Betsy had three more babies the whole time I had her. 😊 She was such a Sweet Girl 😊🐄🐄 I Miss our Family Farm and raising cows. 😊
Baby girl looks like a very healthy dairy goat! People often think when they see a dairy goat that they haven’t been well taken care of because they are a lot skinnier than a meat goat. They should always be thin looking in their hind quarters. If you see a fat dairy goat that usually means there is something wrong or they are eating to much (unless they are pregnant of course). And I love Molly! She’s so adorable! I can’t wait to see them both grow together and become best of friends! 🥰
I’m sure it’s hard to tell from a video how fat or skinny she is. She is very skinny, very boney. I don’t remember any of dad’s dairy goats this skinny.
@@catchinupwithkim it all depends on the breed of dairy goats. Alpines and Nubians look like they are starving to death…you can see hip and rib bones but then if you look at a Saanen dairy goat they look nice and healthy with just a little hip bones sticking out. I thought PawPaw said she’s part Alpine but couldn’t remember what else she’s mixed with. As long as she’s eating good and drinking water as she should I’d say she’s healthy. You could take a fecal sample to a vet to see if she has any worms if your worried. From all of the dairy goats I’ve seen at shows she looks to be a good one in comparison! She’s definitely not going to look like your boar goats since they are meat goats.

Kim, what a beautiful Calf Molly is a beautiful name She she follows you everywhere She's gonna follow you everywhere even inside the house. And I can't forget your goat too She's a beautiful Goat, Thank you for sharing God-bless
Saw your dad's video this morning. Beautiful new babies. If you want to start milking sooner you might want to consider getting a Jersey show heifer, one that's been handled and gentled. If you can find an already bred heifer that would be a bonus. 🤔 I also follow several dairy pages, my favorites for educational purposes are TDF Honest Farming, Iowa Dairy Farmer, and Megan Dairy Girl. 😉 The Swiss Alpine dairy goats tend to be naturally lean bodied goats. Look up dairy goat breeds and most are tall and slender built, except for the Nigerian Dwarf, which is a smaller more stocky goat. They are much different than your dad's Boers, which are more a meat breed, with a more muscular build. It's like comparing greyhounds to bulldogs, dairy breeds are lean, bred for milk production, meat breeds are thick and stocky, bred for meat production. Body score for a dairy breed is much different than a body score for a meat breed. 🤔😉💖 Good luck with your little dairy start up! 💖💖💖
She's beautiful! And hey you're going to have close built-in manure for fertilizer for your little garden this year, Kim. That's pretty cool. I'm going to ask a farmer I know for some of his this year for my little garden this year.
I love your new babies and look forward to watching your new adventures! If you get a chance, watch cog hill to see how they made a farm stand on wheels. That would work well to pull in and out. You might even sell some of your beautiful crafts. Good luck!
I love your plan for a Farmer's Market. I like buying from local farmers. Molly and the goat (cant remember her name) are great additions for the farmer's market.
Molly is just adorable! I also watched Pops goat gift. Baby Girl is so sweet. My initial thought is how cute it would be to have a t-shirt or sweat shirt with their faces on it. "Good golly Miss Molly!" And "Baby Girl is in the House!" 😊😊😊💕
Kim, I am excited about your plans for the future family farmers market. I live too far away to go to it. Maybe yall will have online products for people to purchase. Congratulations on Molly, your baby calf. I love her coloring. I'm glad you are giving her a companion so she won't be lonely. God bless. ❤️👩🐕
Molly is adorable Kim and so is the new milk goat PawPaw got for you. He was so proud for doing that for you because you do so much for him & Gigi. It will be great watching them grow up together. 🙏❤
Congratulations on Molly, she's absolutely beautiful! And I saw your father's video earlier, bringing his baby girl a Baby Girl. ❤ I'm excited for your new adventure and watching those girls thrive, just like your other babies do.
Good Golly Miss Molly, how adorable is she. Love Cows, so very happy for you Kim and that little Goat is sweet have you named her? If you weren't busy enough, you certainly are now. It's wonderful having plans for the future. ❤️&🙏
I’m so excited for you, Kim! You are on your way, and you wouldn’t have to wait 2 or 3 yrs. if you don’t want. You could start with eggs, vegetables, and maybe some of Stephanie’s products and add as other products become available. I’m glad you’re taking us along on this journey.
You’re so right. But I think I’m going to need that time to fix the old garage, pour a slab and build a good size barn for Molly and the next dairy calf I get. But I’ve got the plan and that’s the first step
I love Miss Molly! She is adorable and has already deeply bonded with you. While you were talking she was sweetly looking up at you with her little tongue just a going. So cute! Your dad was so excited to get Babygirl for you and he is excited about your farmers market. I am just so so happy for you! Love y'all
Oh my goodness, Molly is adorable. I am so happy and excited for you to fulfill your dreams. Glad that PawPaw gave you Baby Girl. PawPaw always has such a big garden that maybe he could put some of his veggies in your store along with honey.
She is so adorable, I just love her Kim❤❤❤. I wish I was close to y'all, I would love to be able to help with things like feeding again. You just don't know how I'm sitting here crying because I miss my daddy and mama, and having our farm. To bottle feed a calf I want ever get to do again. I'm facing the fact that I'm going in a month to have my eyes operations started just to know if I'm ever going to see again. This to me is the most precious site. I just love you and Levi so much you are such a blessing.
Baby Girl is a people goat you can definitely see that. She's already attached to you...peeking around the corner to follow you. And Molly is trying to suck you finger and is at you hip. 2 sweet girls! Congratulations!! 💕
Oh my goodness!! Molly is absolutely adorable!! So is your little milk goat Baby Girl! I’m so excited to get to see your adventures to your farm stand. Ohh, Molly brought back memories for me. My grandparents used to have a dairy farm in Wisconsin. I used to play with the calf’s that were taken off their mom’s. I wish it was still around. I miss the farm life.
Hello Kim. Molly is sweet and gentle. I saw PawPaw's video just before this one and a lady suggested the name of "Amber" for your new goat and I agree that Amber's a beautiful name for her beautiful color. A thoughtful gift from your dad. You are on your way Kim, so excited for you.
Good golly Miss Molly! You are so cute! You are going to be a beautiful milk cow! Congratulations Kim! You and Molly are going to have a wonderful friendship. I’m so very happy for y’all. ♥️🤗🙏🇨🇦
I love Molly also... but she would be in the house with me. Lol She looks lonely. I think pawpaw is right. Molly and baby girl should grow close like Miracle and Ivan. Well congratulations..... looks like you've given yourself a whole lotta work ahead. I'm excited for you. That girl sure is cute. Pawpaw was so happy to give you your surprise. He was cute.
Welcome to Morrow Hill Molly and Baby girl ! Couple cutie pies that Molly is a cuteness overload for sure. I bet Molly and Baby girl will be best friends in no time at all. Happy for you Kim🙏❤️
