She said it like that because Lebanese speak a different dialect than Moroccan. For example I'm Moroccan and Arabic (Syrian). So I speak the Moroccan dialect as well as the Levantine dialect which is spoken in the Middle East i.e. Lebanon, Syria, Palestine so on and so forth.... So no she didn't buy her dumbness
But Morocco originally had Berbers and other people. They speak Arabic (Darija) in Morocco, but they don't all consider themselves Arabic. And then the question of "what is an Arab" comes up. I'm of Lebanese and Palestinian ancestry, but many Lebanese don't consider themselves Arab. They'll say that the speak Arabic, but aren't ethnically Arab. It's a confusing thing.
