Miss Piggy and Kermit are in London this week | Squawk Box Europe 

I have a feeling that the break-up was meant to be resolved the moment it happened. In the final episodes of the office-style show, they were working on reevaluating the relationship. It wasn’t official at the end, but it foreshadowed a definite comeback to happen later. But sadly the show was cancelled before any production people can reevaluate this fictional relationship. So they kept them broken up. Maybe sometime later it’ll happen.

@@prestonendresmovies yup you are right... But I'm glad they broke up because they dug deeper to there relationship is but I feel piggy is holding it in cuz female change there minds... The history is piggy annoys kermit for attention, she dress kermit up to be a gentleman, making him jealous, giving him love but end up on a argument, even though her personality is a diva but in min opinion she wants to be a star and prove to kermit she is that, as kermit loves to be love by the whole world... I think she got tired at some point show on the series back in 2015 but for some reason piggy still loves kermit and see him as her man. For Kermit is he have so cut up for his work, and doesn't even notice her background that's why miss piggy acts what she is. So yeah it's a bummer that they didn't Continue the series...

You are woefully misinformed. Brian Henson had a HUGE hand in picking Matt Vogel as Kermit the Frog. And Whitmire deserved to be fired. His behavior was totally unacceptable.
