MISS SCARLET AND THE DUKE Season 4 Ending Explained | Episode 6 Recap 

As much as I love William in the show, realistically he is not the best match for her as he is still embarrassed by her choice of profession. I think Nash is a better fit and much more likely to be like a real Duke with his mysterious contacts and not yet explained wealth. Anyway I was hoping this story would be about women being accepted as equal -(ish) in society and by the men and women they partner with. Love the show I hope it continues.... sad to see William go tho.....but he did choose to.....😢 ❤❤❤❤ Go Scarlet !!

I love Nash! I think they are a great team. In some regards I think they are a better match than Eliza and Duke.

This show only works with William in it. I found the episodes without him sorely lacking and really almost painful to watch.

The "Duke" is essential to the show.

I find Nash far more in sync with Eliza.

I just learned there will be a Season 5, however, Duke will not return. At the end of Season 4, Duke, Nash and Moses, Eliza's champions, have all left London so I'm concerned about her safety. I'm hoping that she will return to France. Ivy and Mr. Potts will probably get married and with the Duke gone, there will be nothing keeping her in London all the time. I agree with the other commentors here, that Nash is far better suited for Eliza. Duke wants her to be a stay-at-home wife and would expect her to give up her passion as a private detective. After four seasons, we all know that Eliza would be miserable doing anything else. Nash comes across as a jerk sometimes but he does respect her and her abilities as a private detective and even behind the scenes, has always had her back. I think he is already in love with her and I can see suttle signs that Eliza is in a struggle between him and her loyalty and feelings for Duke. I wouldn't want to be in her shoes at all. These are just my musings for whatever they are worth.

I agree . They should be able to fashion a story line with William. If he doesn't come back I'm done.

If William Wellington doesn't return I will not watch the next season.

I think the program will suffer greatly and find a good chunk of their viewership has bid farewell to the show. Myself included.

I agree with comment below, no show without THE DUKE! After he left, it was not entertaining at all. I even changed the channel when is was too slow. Without William (DUKE) I'm gone also. Now on to something more interesting😣😣😣

William should return,in case i'm not going to see this show again 😢

I am thankful for the 4 years. Wanted to see the romance grow. It was natural chemistry. Now it is gone. But I am grateful for season 4 episode 4, I named it the kiss. I truly appreciated that moment. I will not continue watching. Very disappointed.
