These resignations are all very well but the most important question that needs to be answered is why does the winner of Miss Universe always come from Earth?
Why are beauty pageants still a thing? All they do is exacerbate insecurities in women and promote unrealistic expectations of beauty standards, not to mention the exploitation and objectification that goes on during these competitions.

ok for anyone who isn't aware in any show business , fashion or entertainment industry you don't even need to be the most talented or most attractive, its all about doing "favors" for the right people. if you're not ready to drop your values , morals and do a lot of degrading casting couch stuff you'll be 100% replaced by someone else crazy or desperate enough to do it.
The most beautiful thing about the contest was that a contestant had to have a good personal background, represented her community well, and went about her role doing good and being a patriot of America and our Constitution. Now they are selected if they will do what they are told to do and how to be.
