It's because Philippines has lots of pageant fans compared to other country (they're not as crazy as Philippines when it comes to pageantry), not because all of the crowd cheering for her (because each country cheer for their reps only).

I'm glad they changed it in 2011. 2010's introduction in it's finals was the best ever, but their introduction for the preliminary is the most boring ever. Even the candidates feels bored. Lmfao

Most of the crowd are not only Filipino audience but they are cheering for Venus just accept it that she is the favorite that time, well you are right we are Filipino are crazy when it comes to a pageant especially in Miss Universe and im so proud of that,
