H'Hen Nie (2018) and Venus Raj (2010) are quite alike in their journeys to Miss Universe. Although they didn't win, they were the sentimental favourites to millions around the world (not taking away from the actually well-deserved winners, of course). They both won the Timeless Beauty award. Both finished in the top 5 at Miss Universe in their respective year. The Philippines have been placing every year since Venus. Vietnam has been placing every year since H'Hen. They are indeed lucky charms to their countries. And five years after Venus' participation to MU, Pia won the crown for the Philippines. So if H'Hen placed in 2018, does this mean Vietnam will win the crown in 2023? Of course I am a bit superstitious, but who knows. The representative of MU Vietnam 2023 is gorgeous and has a year to prepare.
