Seriously, I am so disgusted by his comments. I don’t discriminate any girl based off her race or ethnicity. For me what’s important is that the girl should be competent, articulate, humble, confident and should put on a good performance through her stage presence. All these girls are in the top 16 for a reason. They stood out to the judges out of all the 80 girls. They deserved to be there. Get one thing in your head, Latinas are not the only “beautiful” girls in the world. Beauty is subjective and an intellectual girl who is down to earth will always look 10 times more attractive then someone who’s physically attractive.

The judges there were all females, but for us (men), the Bahamas was walking a bit weird and unattractive. Venezuela and Vietnam must've taken their places.

Al ser el mismo jurado en la final que el que las evaluó en las entrevistas simplemente habrá chicas que impresionaron más (su personalidad y esas cosas)... Inconscientemente el jurado forma a sus favoritas o las chicas que les cayeron mejor y eso claro que va a tener peso en la final

Si el año pasado hubiera ganado India no habrian dicho nada de esto, solo son hipocritas porque no gana su favorita, la chica de la India se comio a todas en la preliminar y a todas en la final con el round de preguntas incluido. No se porque se cegan por el fanatismo.

No entiendo por que ofender a las chicas, decir cosas como "mira las piernas de grillo" Al final en estos concurso no todo es belleza física, que aburro sería. LA Personalidad, la energía, y sobre todo la forma en la que interactúan con el jurado y la organización son los elementos claves que definen a una Miss Universo, Son 80 y sólo 15 lugares, es imposible que pasen nuestras favoritas siempre y no creo que sea lo más correcto ofender ni a ellas ni al jurado. Al final por eso están ahí evaluando. Se han ganado un nombre y una posición que nosotros como fans ofendiendo e insultando JAMÁS vamos a obtener.

Brazil no merecía clasificar, hubo chicas que en realidad sí se pensó estarían en la final pero sorpresivamente no lo hicieron, con Brazil ya se veía venir.
Me myself really love Brazil of course cause she's having a same surname of me. but during her prelims her gown made her not move to the top16 you can recap it on preliminary show .. But giving negative thoughts about other candidates should not be tolerated and imitated instead we should cheer them cause all of them give their energy time and efforts.
Right now it's not Miss Universe Pageant but rather Miss Universe Competition. Don't base your assumption in their performance or catwalk in Preliminaries that they will advance in the first cut. Clearly you are biased and lived in an era where you thought beauty standards will make you standout nowadays. Pageantry are now evolving. Miss Universe is not what you think it is.
