It’s been going on for years. I was a pageant judge in the 90’s and I saw it them, here in Utah, and Atlantic City.

The funniest thing about beauty pageants is how all those girls "act" like they are so nice and how they all "like" each other. Every single one of them should get an Oscar for that "performance".

I have a pretty young daughter. She had so many offers when she started working at 18 that she took to wearing a wedding ring. That slowed things down but gave her a good out.

Laylah Rose Loiczly couldn’t handle being outshone by these two ladies, one of them being only 17 years old. (What grown competent woman picks on a 17 year old let alone an adult in their 20s)?? Now she’s doing damage control and hoping this all blows over by hiding behind a new titleholder, but we all know how hard it is to maintain a charade. The truth will always come out.

How refreshing. In the past, you would only hear about these pageant winners being ousted because they somehow violated the pageant owners' "values." And now these young women are turning the tables and rejecting the pageant organizations because those orgs aren't living up to their personal values. Good for them! On another note-- Is it just me, or do all of these contestants look the same these days? The clip where Miss USA was crowned, the past winner and the two finalists were almost indistinguishable. Everyone has the same hairstyle, face shape, and makeup style.

Why do companies make you sign your rights away to policies and procedures they dont adhere to or plan to adhere to themselves. Companies have onboarding and codes of conduct employees must follow, but they do not hold themselves to the same standards. They will fire you at will, reprimand you, make false accusations, or worse. However, the same set standards are invisible to them. Yes, there should be standards, but EVERYONE SHOULD FOLLOW THE SAME STANDARDS they promote. Where are our protections as workers. I'll tell you, the majority of it gets discarded as they force you to sign away your rights in order to protect themselves from wrong doing, before you are hired and throughout your tenure. Forcing and promoting at the very least arbitration. As for H.R., which is supposed to be there maintaining order and civility, why has it shied away from ensuring proper decorum is maintained by all parties?
