Georgia was one of the most stunning woman in the Miss USA - look at her gorgeous face. Miss California, Diana Magana is so very elegant and regal. Miss Texas, beautiful and her eyes are so magical ... they light up the stage. This pageant is great and so sad that they are not this prestigious now! Maybe the Fox Network can bring it back up and since women are now running the pageant - Elevate the Miss USA and Miss Universe back to the great ratings it use to be!
I miss so much those clays when Miss USA, Miss Teen USA and Miss Universe had all that elegance. The music from the Navy, the openings number and the musical show at the middle of the pageant. It’s such a list that sadly Mr. Trump made all that disappear. The old pageant where such a dream I could and still watch them many times. I hope some day they will return. 💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐
You are so full of it, quit trying to camouflage your hatred for Trump through a beauty pageant. Trump rewarded beautiful girls in a BEAUTY pageant. IMG and the latest freak who owns it are the ones who ruined the Miss Universe Org with their woke/female empowerment cringe, and rewards diversity over beauty, and that is why the pageants aren't even shown on the major networks here in the USA, they are relegated to 3rd tier cable channels that nobody os watching anymore. These stellar pageants, that reached their pinnacle in the 80s are unfortunately a thing of the past.

Great competition. Oklahoma is the one who wowed me, here. Just so pretty, sweet, and the gown looked amazing on her. Glad that the judges picked up on it, too (2nd place in gown, but sadly 6th place overall). California, Georgia, Texas and Mississippi also impressed me with their elegance and gowns. Maryland, I thought, was underscored.
OK what in the heck is up with Tennessee is gown hahah oh the 80s ! I thought that Mississippi was great throughout the whole pageant and she had a really cute personality but Texas hands-down was the most gorgeous and her gown was stunning even for the 80s ha ha. Texas also did this thing with her mouth every time that was just sexy and confident, it set her apart !
were there somebody from the cadet group and delegates fr this room have ended with each other, smitten and ended up together in real life? just a thought thanks.
Miss Oklahoma, Miss South Carolina, Miss Texas, Miss Illinois, Miss Florida and Miss Tennessee (but why did you pick that dress?) are the most beautiful here, in my opinion.
Watch Miss Texas 1988 closely, she has the 'confidence' throughout the entire competition, all thou my original thoughts, Diana Magana Miss California would have given Miss Thailand Porntip Nakaringkanok miss universe 88 a harder challenge..
i agree with you on that, but Miss Universe that year was politically rigged for the Asians to win.. if u notice in the top 5 only 4 was Asian and Mexico was there to make it not look bad... USA was robbed and i'm not from the US!
I agree with the political thing, esp it was held in Taipei, Taiwan, but with Miss USA Courtney Gibbs, I did not like her evening gown, nothing special, she could have done way better, Miss Thailand gown was very elegant for that era in the 80's I think Diana Magania would have gone all out with her gown :) if she was representing USA that year
