Bcdf 1930 she’s actually the second woman, Lynnette Cole of Tennessee actually made the top 5 at all those pageants. But, Tara outplaced her at Miss Teen USA.
Although Tara’s reign came to be quite controversial later, there’s no denying she was the most facially stunning in that top 5. She had stage presence and I am not sure if the other ladies would’ve made top 5 at Miss Universe 2006. 2006 was just too competitive. Overall, the Miss USA 2006 batch was quite weak facially (like 2005) and hence Kentucky emerged victorious even though she isn’t considered tall by international pageant standards. Having the Miss Universe 2006 pageant held in LA certainly boasted Tara’a chances as she was playing at home court.
It is not always about the face though. Olivia Culpo had the face and she was bland as F***. How she won Miss USA and Miss Universe is beyond me. Tara definitely had stage presence. Her top five answer was the worst. I would have given California the crown. I think with the right styling, California could have placed just as high or higher as Tara at Universe.
@@zutropolazutropola4449 Tamiko was certainly very warm and could’ve done better had she had better styling. But I don’t see her stage presence at Miss USA nor do I see her competitiveness at Miss Universe. Out of all the ladies, I think South Carolina (with the proper styling) would’ve made top 5 like Tara did. I don’t see Tamiko making top 5 if she presented like she did in Miss USA. Just my personal take. As for Olivia, I too think she gave an underwhelming performance and was surprised when she kept on advancing. Certainly one of the worst moments for international pageant fans but a very delightful and happy moment for Americans! :)
@@emcemc7506 so must be you. You should be ashamed of yourself. Everyone goes through bad times. Calling them names shows what kind of upbringing you had and take it or leave it, Trump Era was best. IMG is so boring and so boring winners. IMG is all talk and no work while Trump winners did a lot of work for HIV/AIDS awareness and other projects. IMG winners just sit in their hotel rooms and do make up tutorial videos.
@@doinalright4552 they only work but they have terrible backgrounds. Come on its your job to work as a winner its a requirement even until IMG era they work with the charity orgs. Unlike trump winners they are brainless only exposing their cleavage. Miss America was way better than Miss USA that time.
I gave it to Ohio........i Love Tomiko and Tara has been a recovery but Stacy Offenberger the Last Miss Ohio USA to place was the better woman in final answer....
Am I 9 years too late in my response? Ohio looked too old. California was the best overall package based on her final answer and performance throughout the night. Kentucky was great on the stage but she bombed her final answer.
Miss USA 2006🇺🇸 was not so strong the winner was okay better at the Miss Universe pageant 2006. Miss California USA 🇺🇸 not so happy when she known she was the 1st runner-up I was happy Miss USA 2006, kept her title because was not a Miss California USA 🇺🇸 2006, fan 🤷♂️
People has bad mouth on Tara Conner but guess what: a 5 foot 5 inches (almost nanism to international pageant constest standards) miss won Miss USA and was Top 5 in MU. Just being absolutelly amazing.
