At least Americans still can watch the Pageant on TV with some production, something that in others countries like Brazil, Russia, Germany, Sweden, UK dont do that anymore..
The Americans should learn from the South Africans. This production is an embarrassment compared to Miss South Africa. South Africa only had 10 finalist and the production of the show was amazing world class. This Miss USA looked so cheap and rushed it's really awful.
I prefer her to compete miss Universe this year & I love that Female judges appreciate her sexy presentation skills she could be one of the favorites in miss Universe
I don't think Oklahoma is beautiful and I'm not a fan of the wide-set eyes look. And looks like she has a weight problem but has slimmed down from when she was at Miss Teen USA but you can tell she has a weight problem and if she wouldn't won, I wouldn't be surprised if she ballooned up like Alicia Machado and Harnazz. But the judges saw something special in her to make her a runner-up, even though her SS and EG weren't strong and she was too boxy and wide, so they probably overlooked that because they wanted her to win or be close to winning.
This edition of Miss USA honestly is so boring and the production and background music is appalling. The absence of background music during the Q and A round was a joke.
Kentucky really stumbled on her final question and got 1st runner up. Michigan spouted out an already prepared answer that didn't even answer the question - and her same answer was also heard word for word in the final look clip - and she won. What a joke!
I think it was okay. They just did away with the dance production etc but competition wise, I got to focus on the girls and how they performed and not the dancers around them- they were distracting for the most part. Music especially for swim and gown could more catchy. It was okay! MI though, did not answer the question- she probably stitched canned answered but MAYBE during the entire competition she did very well, especially on the off cam events. I still enjoyed it. 🎉
She used her own life experiences to answer the question. She talked about her cultural background and how she is an example to bridge the gap between different cultures.
Rest in Peace Miss USA pageant. This is the worst edition of Miss USA. Kentucky gave a cliché education answer and ended up 1st RU. She didn't even deserve to be top 5 with that circus costume gown. The audience were dead.. They were barely cheering. The Thai ladyboy has ruined the pageant.
The Miss USA was ruined even before Anne came, since IMG era and their false "Inclusion" and showing the CV of each girls over their Beauties! 😂 and got Worsen with Covid-19, Separation from MUO and sold to Crystele Stewart with Sexual Harrasament scandal of her Housband with some of the contestans.
That's the Thai ladyboy the Director of Miss USA and Miss Teen USA. Miss USA a few years ago are already trashy pageant and both Miss USA and Miss Teen USA last year resigned because of bad management
I know!!!😢 and before anyone goes all woke and angry on me, let me say that I’m neither white Or blonde (so there, lefties lol) but I so miss the blonde bombshell beauty queen. Why get rid of that? Especially when you’re a country like USA - you know other nations have (almost) choice but to send someone with brown or black hair to the final - wouldn’t you want to differentiate yourself? …not to mention, it’s so boring AND confusing with everyone sporting the same “ten tonnes of fake tan and meh brown dye” look…and besides, you’re beauty queens, you have to do the fake hair and all, so why on Earth wouldn’t you go all out and look glam instead of doing yourself up to look “average”? Bring back the blondes! lol (rant over lol)
@@crystaldoherty8791well not that it should ever matter but there have been more blonde winners probably than anyone else. From the roll call in the beginning I don’t remember seeing any blonde bomb shells. If there was any throughout the country, they didn’t win this year.
Kentucky wore a big loofah and stumbled on her final question and still got 1st runner up? Michigan did NOT even answer the final question and was crowned? what a JOKE.
She is really really really beautiful. Too bad the final question was not good. I honestly think Michigan killed her answer, even tho it’s a little show off. But Michigan did provided the best answer.
The same happened with Miss Mexico production. I think the problem is that there are more streaming TV options, therefore the open TV audience is greatly reduced and of course causes less budget for live show events. Since streaming TV appeared many mexican TV channels dissapeared and also The football soccer industry (which used to make billions of dollars in Mexico) had to find a new way to make money through subscriptions to sports streaming channels.
@@msrain1235there have been a lot of bad press and public mess over the current leadership and behaviors within the new organization. Both Teen and USA resigned their crowns and the teen runner up I think turned it down. And the current Miss USA assumed the crown a few months ago and all of those who stepped down cited mental health impacts of dealing with the organization and their treatment as the title holders.
@@herluisalvarado8366 If you are from the US you would know that Pageants have been dying right before Trump took over in the 90's, The reason the organisation was sold to him. Each year the ratings were decreasing according to the Nielson numbers...
What year am I really watching??!? This Miss USA looks like a minimalist edition. The stage looks nice, clean, modern but let’s be real. Boring. This is too far from what has been 10 years ago in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I’M. EXTREMELY. SAD. The show isn’t screaming USA.
Best Miss USA EVER! Great venue! Great BGM song choices (especially the first evening gown music)! I really love the background music very much, especially on the evening gown round and many of the contestants are pretty and so stunning! 💗 I wish I was in America instead of here in this country... 😭 USA is such a great country just by watching this video or this great event! My most favorite contestant here would be Miss Oklahoma for sure! ❤ I can watch this one for so many times because of the great music and stunning ladies / contestants! [9.8/10]
First, I think Oklahoma deserved that title, (no, I'm not from Oklahoma, never been to Oklahoma, I don't have family or know anybody in Oklahoma). Second, I've read many of the comments and I TOTALLY agree with @jkraegproductions that said Miss USA has gone downhill and is a far cry of what it used to be. I second that opinion.
@@Nefrit13stop doing that! That’s dumb and stupid. But imagine in this case then how other races may have felt for decades. I’m mixed and was raised right so I don’t have to tell myself racial lies to appease any inner racism. That’s all you’re doing. Oklahoma was my favorite by the end but her hair fire the first half was terrible! It killed all of her looks for me and is likely why she lost. If she had her hair right from the beginning she might have won.
@@AgentAO7Oklahoma was great by the end. But give the first half her hair made her look a mess. It was an awful hairstyle choice. If she had her hair flawless from the beginning she might have won. She was my favorite by the end. But fine the first half I was so confused about her hairstyle and wondering who chose that!!!
A shame … The Miss USA with so many beautiful women, but unfortunately they don't know how to choose their representative. Many finalists who didn't deserve it!
I was in the audience, and most of the audience was enthusiastic and energetic. The tv really edited most of the stuff out though to make it seem that the audience is dead. OMG, so disappointing. What a pleasant experience though. I will admit improvements need to be made, especially with the controversy
I think? We decided to go for “diversity” - and missed it completely, ending up with the opposite of “they’re all the same blonde girl blah blah blah” and ended up with the “all the same “tanned to look brown girl” instead. (I’m a tanned brown girl (naturally!) myself and WHY ppl would pay $$ to put chemicals on their skin and hair and rid themselves of beautiful blonde hair is beyond me - it seriously looks like there’s been effort made to make many of the girls look more “plain” than they naturally are. So sad. (I SO miss the blondes!!! And it makes you wonder what went on to keep the competition so devoid of them - there must be an automatic deduction at state level or something for showing up with big blonde hair!)
@@crystaldoherty8791I think you’re wrong!!! In my memory of the opening I didn’t see any stunning blondes or any that stood out in my mind. I remember none which speaks volumes! If no blonde contestant performed well enough or were up to par beauty wise I don’t think it’s some effort towards diversity that yielded the finalists. It’s so tiring to always use that nonsense statement or excuse to express racial grievance if a lot of white women don’t dominate competitions like they used to. Did you see any stunning blondes? As a diverse person I always looked for the most beautiful and best natured combined with walk and energy. In many times in my life if it was the blonde white girl or the most stunning one that’s who I wanted so that they could win universe. The ones with the best overall energy and looks out of the roll call were the ones they picked. If it bothers you then you should find more stunning and capable blonde, or less diverse as you would put it, contestants to win their local pageants and be able to compete with the collective winners. It’s that simple.
When you consider who is running the show with the Miss Universe Organization (someone from Thailand, Mexico & Venezuela), you can pretty much figure that a representative from the USA will be lucky if she makes the top 20.
District of Columbia is giving me throwback pageant realness! She's so beautiful! But yes I agree that her performance let her down, but seriously... that face! Beautiful!
The glitz and glamour supposedly of Hollywood is lost in this edition of Miss USA. I miss the likes of Baton Rouge and Reno-Tahoe productions where the pageant nights opened with a bang.
The MUO doesn't have to have the sashing ceremony to copy other less prestigious pageants, like Miss Grand International and Miss Supranational. The sashing ceremony just cheapens the pageant.
Trump years were the best agreed. Can't wait for him to be president of your country again!!!!!!! He makes everything Better!!!!!!!!!!! This show was pathetic
I'm definitely not a fan of his, but I will give credit where it's due. When he ran it, the pageants were good, glamorous, and well produced. This past pageant wasn't. It also could be that pageants aren't as popular as they once were. Still, there should be a good production going on.
And even the hostess made a mistake... saying "next up swimsuit round " when it is for evening gown. N that too, I believe reading from a teleprompter.
It’s actually very unfortunate that none of the top five has a clue on how to answer the final question when it’s literally the job description of every pageant crown. Final Question: How can we bridge the gap between different cultures, and foster understanding and respect. Ms. Michigan- just totally ignored the question and pretty much gave an “american dream” related response - which was a complete duplicate of the one she had rehearsed when they played a video clip of her during her final walk. She should’ve finished in 4th place. Ms. Kentucky- stumbled on her answer like a deer caught in headlights. Yes, she did lack confidence in her response but the fact that she tried to recovered from it and said “through education…by educating ourselves about different cultures” in part of her response. I really wished she elaborated a bit more with her response but out of all the responses from the other girls, Ms. Kentucky was the only one who actually stayed truth to the question and answered the How. And with that, and I hate to say this- should’ve won the crown 👑 Ms. Tennessee- had she elaborated more and perhaps gave an example in regards to her Ms. Tennessee social media platform that she had pointed out herself, and how she would continue to make a positive change as the new Ms. USA, she would’ve snatched the crown. She deserved finishing in 3rd place. Ms. Oklahoma- first part of her response was irrelevant and really a waste of allotted time. She then proceeded and gave a very vague response by saying “we’re all here to achieve the same mission…support and respect each other.” We kinda know exactly the message she’s trying to get across but just wished it was executed properly. She deserved finishing in 2nd place. Ms. Ohio- not the best answer either but the fact that she pointed out “that there’s so much more that brings us together than keeping us apart….that we’re all humans, we all go through pain, challenges and it is what brings us all together.” She should’ve finished in 1st place.🥇
This is a Legit question! This is the first time ever I watch the Miss USA and I have to ask, is it famous?… was there money invested? The production looked like Miss Trailer Park, super simple and boring, why were the girls wearing different shoes that made them look so different in stature? What were they thinking with those AWFUL swimsuits???… the night gowns looked cheap, like Shein meets high school prom, where is the jewelry? Where is the sparkle? If I compare it to let’s say for example Miss Venezuela, where their production looks like a Broadway show, where they are covered on jewls, where their night gowns are made by top designers and I watch this! Idk, I’m legitimately confused and curious 😅… I mean Toddlers & Tiaras invested more money in production hahahaha. Impressive for the country that has the most miss universe crowns 😂 As a host, a Real Housewife and a RU-vidr!! Really? Who will be next year! Lisa Rinna and James Charles? I’m shocked, honestly haha
Give her time to revamp the production. She’s seems to be starting from top to bottom. The contestants this year were amazing top shelf. I had a hard time selecting top 20. Very diverse group.
ALSO Hawaii, New York, District of Columbia, Nebraska, North Carolina, Colorado, New Mexico, Arkansas, Massachusetts, Mississippi are deserving for miss Universe
Total garbage production and lousy background music...and this is an understatement. How in earth did Michigan win?? She didn't even answer the question and it's like a prepared speech which she had practiced a few hundred times. The real winner here should have been Oklahoma and Ohio a close second. Both gave the best answer and are stunningly beautiful. If this kind of judges are allowed to judge such a prestigious event, then the Miss USA pageant will die a slow death...and the Thai ladyboy was the final nail in the coffin. R.I.P.
The Positive: Loved Michigan since she competed for state. Loved to see most of my choices making Top 20 and Top 10. I just think Ohio was shafted and should've been higher. That covers the positives... I think that this sad production was the equivalent of a decent state-level competition and they don't even have the budget that this show SHOULD have. This was low rent for sure with absolutely NO excitement. 1. What was with the cringe music used, especially during the countdown to winner - sounded like the musical score played during the end credits of some romance film. 2. Swimsuit competition confused me - Was really cool to see the patriotic suits in different styles and then BOOM, swimsuits become totally different with the cheapest of accessories from a Joann's fabric store project. It was anything but cohesive. SO bad! 3. Scepter? Really? 🤣 Lesson to be learned: DON'T TRY TO FIX WHAT ISN'T BROKEN.
1st Michigan 2nd Oklahoma 3rd Ohio para mi fueron los mejores en responder entre esas tres una de ellas muy merecido la tenian. Pero michigan fue la mejor al contestar la pregunta .
Tennessee as top 5? What is going on? U robbed Hawaii and Virginia and Texas out of top 5. They performed way better than the Oklahoma, Tennessee and Kentucky. And u let the Top 5 held the headphones to themselves? Justice for New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island and Vermont!!! Justice for New York and California. Damn you Layla Rose. Congrats to Michigan nevertheless. She is my pick since prelim based on performance. But I’m not delulu, Michigan DID NOT answer that damn question! The question asked was ‘How would you bridge the gap of culture differences’ not ‘what’s in ur resume’…But damn you Layla! U obviously picked the worst to advance to top 5 to give way for Michigan to win but how is this a good fight??????
Best answer is Oklahoma as miss USA ,miss Ohio a cute second; unfortunately we are not the judges, you have to accept the decision but overall talent and smarts goes to Michigan.
