i think miss phillippines gave the best asnwer, don't you know that miss south africa and miss jamaica ask question by their fellowmen. the judges are from africa and jamaica that the reason why they won the contest. that's the reason why they won restpectively. i think miss philippines won the crown.

All three are important: Sure that is why she got to Top 5. However, I think she ruined her chances by wearing so many diamonds. I can see no physical beauty in her as all the diamonds overshadowed her. If someone is truly beautiful, her features would be able to outshine diamonds. No , her features did not outshine the jewelry.
I do not have any problem with Miss Jamaica's win. Physical beauty: I have seen pictures of the two ladies. Even after decades, Miss Jamaica is still beautiful.
This was the time when Miss World had a grand presentation...more like a Royal pageantry. Lately Miss World became so boring...with the exception of the 2013 pageant in Bali,Indonesia

Miss Croatia was magnificent. She obviously needed a translator because of the language barrier. Venezuela displayed a gorgeous smile and her response was pretty good. South Africa should not have been in the top 5 and showed she had no real insight about race relations and politics with her sugar coated response. Phillippines was so glamorous and poised. All I'm seeing here are biased comments and then people have the audacity to say the show is biased when if their girl had won that wouldn't be the case. Miss Jamaica got the toughest question and she answered it smartly, hence she deserved that win. Phillipines did gave a good response and could have been the winner,,, but it was just not meant to be.
I believe Philippines won in this edition, she answer perfectly and elegant and active during the entire pageant. Jamaica maybe 1st runner up but excellent answer, while SA maybe the 2nd. But that's the history, congratulations to all!

Miss Philippines's answer is a contradiction to what she is wearing. So much jewelry. She obviously cared for heavy makeup and jewelry to maintain her self esteem not internal beauty. Miss Jamaica answer was superb and earnest.

Very clear 2 times it happened in Ms.World that Philippines should win the title Ms. World 1993 Ruffa Gutierrez and Ms.World 2016 Catriona Gray only Megan is the lucky Ms. World Philippines because they don't have choice among the candidates Megan is the crowed favorite , most standout among the finalist and especially the Queen favorite of Indonesia ....

asians are not white. but they can have white skin. look at koreans, chinese. do u think they are dark? if u see them in person their skin may not be as white as blondes but its also light and white. don't conclude things that u really aren't so sure of.
For those griping about Philippines not winning, please remember that there are also preliminary competitions that count towards the final score. It is NOT all based on the interview. While she gave a good answer, she gave a very "cookie cutter" answer. It came off staged. Miss Jamaica's answer was much more sincere and heart felt. South Africa should not have been in the top three, not even top 10! There was nothing special about her but it was a political placement. I thought Venezuela should have been third, Philippines 2nd and Jamaica the winner.
