Did you know? Unnur Birna had won the 3rd Miss World crown for Iceland in 2005. However, this wasn't the first time she was on the Miss World stage. Her mother, Unnur Steinsson, won the Miss Iceland pageant in 1983 and was a Top 6 finalist at the Miss World 1983 pageant. Unnur's mother was 3 months pregnant during the pageant. This was against the pageant rules and warrants disqualification. However, this was not known until after the pageant was over... So technically she was on the stage of Miss World through her mother's womb. Sources also said that her grandmother was the one who always dreamt of her being a Miss World and she said she would win it in a gown she would make. She designed the black finale gown of Unnur and passed away just before the contest. Unnur birna is daughter of unnur steinson miss iceland 1983 and finalist in miss world 1983,her mother was pregnant with her when she was still competing then. 22 years later unnur birna won miss iceland, her grandmother made the gown she wore on the finals. Miss Philippines carlene Aguilar was highest in votes that year and unnur was second highest in votes, but the judges decision prevailed after the semi finalists were announced. 🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁 FRAGMENTS OF THE DIARY OF THE NEW MISS World 2005 Here are some excerpts from the new Miss World’s own diary: HARD WORK… “I am very happy and I am having a great time in China. We have been working hard and for many hours every day, but everything is fine and worth it. It’s worth the effort. Security is tight.” THE FAVORITES… “Everyone says that Miss Philippines is a sure winner of the pageant, which would not make me unhappy. However, I prefer to see Miss Costa Rica winning. She is incredibly flashy, however, she is not a diva I like it a lot. The semi-finalists from Northern Europe will be Switzerland and England.” YOUR OWN CHANCES… “I have no chance of winning this. They have 10 boxes of designer dresses, hair extensions and most have been surgically enhanced. NATURAL IS GOOD… “I am so surprised to say that my little me made it to the top 5 in the Beach Beauty Contest, completely without silicone or any kind of surgical enhancement! Miss Russia was the winner with her perfect body and 180 cm tall. Tomorrow I have to get up at six, so it’s time to close my eyes.” GETTING READY FOR TONIGHT… “The day has come, tonight a new Miss World will be crowned and I’m part of it. It’s hard to believe that everything is happening. I hope I can make my country proud by presenting myself well. I don’t think I can win and I hope the Icelanders don’t expect my victory”. “The girls think that if Miss Philippines doesn’t win, Miss Russia will, after all, there is talk of Miss World being held in Russia next year. My personal favorite is Miss Mexico. I got close to her in the last few days and I think she is the best combination of beauty, intelligence and personality. I am happy with the visibility that my country and I have obtained in the international press in the last four weeks.” Iceland’s Prime Minister Halldor Asgrimsson joined 10,000 people who braved snow and icy gales to greet Miss World 2005, Unnur Birna Vilhjalmsdottir, as she brought the crown to Iceland on Sunday, December 18. As she was cheered and congratulated, she said, “This is amazing, unbelievable. In Iceland, people don’t usually do this, so I’m really touched that people took the time to come and welcome me home.” Unnur Birna received warm congratulations from her two predecessors, Hófi Karlsdóttir (1985) and Linda Pétursdóttir (1988), who welcomed the new Miss World to their exclusive club.
MISS WORLD 2005 on AXN/Star World/ABC-5 ABS-CBN Christmas Station ID 2005: "Magpasaya Ng Kapamilya" GMA Christmas Station ID 2005: "Maligayang Pasko, Mga Kapuso!"
ESA CORONA ERA DE PUERTO RICO SIN DUDA BELLISIMA MUJER AL IGUAL EL ROBO DESCARADO QUE LE HICIERON A PERLA BELTRAN DE MEXICO Y NI QUE HABLAR OTRO ROBO A MARINA MORA DE PERÚ 2002 SERIA EL COLMO QUE LE ROBASEN A IVIAN SARCOS Y A LA MAS HERMOSA DE TODAS MAJU
DANIEL RICHARTE. 👑😨😂😂😂😂😂
