A blogger in Ukraine's second-largest city of Kharkiv had been recording a video message to his followers as an airstrike hit near him.

Nikita Demenkov was telling his followers about the use of donations they had sent when a missile exploded above him on Wednesday. The blast sent him scrambling to seek shelter in a basement.

To those asking. He is alive. He got up and went in the building. He's since made other posts on his Instagram, you can search his name up. It's actually really heartbreaking to see his feed. Not long ago he was hanging out with friends and seeing concerts. Now he's documenting a war and trying to avoid missiles. It is hard to see these things but these people need everyones support even for a psychological boost. Its emotionally hard to see it but its far harder to live it. There won't be enough therapists in the world to help Ukranian people overcome the things they have and are yet to see.

The world has been going nuts for decades, and the one thing we could do something about it getting better is at least look after our nature instead of just talking how bad the climate crisis has already become!! Also, they might disable comments - another reason to prefer the original (I get it the original is probably not on RU-vid, but there should be a link)
