I got to sit down and have lunch with Steve Irwin after doing a bit of a practical joke on him when we were at Australia Zoo. It was such an awesome experience in my life. I cried all the way to work the day Steve Irwin passed away. He was a bloody legend. R.I.P Steve

I think Forrest would be a husky... smart with lots to tell you about and always needs stimuli, I feel like Pat is a Labrador... the friendly and chill exterior but always making sure his people are safe and happy, and for Peter I have no explanation for this, but I can't stop thinking of him as a Long-haired Dachshund. I grew up with one... loyal AF and very happy

The question about why haven't humans been able to make fresh water from salt water is we have been able to. It's very energy intensive, pumping water through a membrane like the mangrove tree filtering the water.

Algoa bay is in the Eastern Cape, not KwaZulu Natal, and as someone who grew up in KwaZulu Natal, at least when I was there, EVERYONE was taught in school along the coast, don't swim near river mouths, at dawn & dask etc.

An Orca in captivity figured out that if it regurgitates a fish, it can capture/eat seagulls and other birds. Behavior was then adopted by 4 other orcas...

White sharks have always been a feature in KZN, especially in the winter months. Also KZN has a well established shark net program operated by the Natal Sharks Board for many decades as a result of shark attacks in years gone by.

So just to add in some facts. The orcas attacking the boats in Spain are a group of young orcas aka teenagers are attacking the rudders as a form of a game. They think they were taught to do it by an older female orca who may have been hurt by a boat. What they hope is that this game will eventually go away and that they don't teach other teenagers 🤞
