Like stepping back into 1995, just the build up up to Xmas, after a hot summer, your mates dad smoking a fat cigar kicking in a bottle of dark spirit of some sort and you are taken back with the depth of that sound- what happened to the world ? Used to be such quality - such fun
I have a pair of these too and they are superb in every way! The real beauty of these is you don't need a massive room for them to sound great. I've owned them since 1995 and probably always will. The wife goes before these do...….
I have 4 of these and am looking for another 2 for 7.2 Sound combined with a REL Sub, and Q accustics QB12 Sub. Not sure how that women can say 2 drivers are not connected
vex123 if yours are the non freedom model I would say a Cyrus 3 is a good match, or a Cyrus 3i if yours are the freedom version. I am using a 3 with my 753 think they have good synergy better than the Audiolabs I had
Had a set of these when they first released cost £800. I just couldn't afford a good enough amp to run them as I understand they are pretty demanding speakers if you want the best out of them.
Same here, I picked a pair up £800 in rosewood and was running them on an integrated Techniques amp. Was saving for the Audiolab 8000C and 2 x 8000M but, I never quite got there.
Denon / PCM Recording - 45 R.P.M. - Demonstration Record, song is Body And Soul at 33rpm's instead of the recommended 45 rpm's. Musician - Konosuke Saijo, Norio Maeda Trio Written By - Johnny Green, Robert Sour
Sorry.... One of the worst speakers ever. 2 of the drive units are not even connected. The only thing good about them that made people buy them was they are heavy thick mdf cabinets. In terms of sound they are flat. 752's are just as bad. People just bought these because they have lots of drive units.
