UPDATE 03/21/22: I purchased this bag in December 2021 and have had no issues with anything getting through it to my iPhone SE 2nd GEN. Thanks for the review.
I recently purchased another brand and was in the process of testing it. Using my house phone I called my cell. My cellphone didn't ring. Next my wife called my cellphone with her cell and again my cell didn't ring. We were standing there talking about the bag and my daughter, unknown to us, texted my cellphone twice, one with an image and once with just text. My cellphone announced both text messages which surprised my wife and I because we were not expecting my cellphone to answer. I have a ring tone for text messages with Ironman's Jarvis voice stating "Excuse me, there is a message for you." I promptly sent the bags back for a refund. Do the Mission Darkness Phone Shield Faraday Bags also allow text messages to come through? Is it something all of these bags do?
Hey Folks, I re-ran the test today to be sure I was accurate and no signal got through to the phone whilst it was in the Mission Darkness bag. No calls, texts or emails. I am not an engineer but I believe the phone signal (radio waves) is the same regardless of what is being transmitted eg. calls, texts or emails. The data stream doesn't know what it contains so I can't explain why your bag did not block all electrical signal. The Faraday concept does have some wiggle room if using a mesh material. The electrical radiation could pass if the wavelength is smaller than the mesh but solid foil would not have this problem. I haven't taken apart the MD bag but if feels like a solid piece of foil to me. I hope this helps.
Hey Tribulation Prepper (or Jack Ass ) I am not a shill for anyone and have no connection with Mission Darkness in any way, shape or form. I purchased the bag with my very own money from Amazon and did the review. How about getting out of your mother's basement and doing your own review?

I get so sick of spending time looking for factual reviews only to find a bunch of damned HYPE hence my irritation with your video. I could be wrong but, as the old saying goes...
