Not all birds in this video are a part of our flock. A couple of them are birds I hand raised this year.
I'm sure some if you are wondering about the others you haven't seen in these last 2 videos, such as a couple of popular favorites like Rukus and Hendrick. Don't worry. They will be in videos soon enough.

@Maya-pm4et It wouldn't matter. There's a magnet on the pantry doors. They know the sound when it opens. It has a distinct sound. It's a sound of the "birb bell".

I know how demanding my Too and African Grey can get when I’m eating something they want. I can’t imagine defending of a flock!! They are so adorable but food can bring out their nasty side sometimes. You handle it well, reminds me of the Hitchcock movie Birds!! ❤️🙂😂❤️🙂😂

@agemoth Well, in the past they really didn't have much interest in coming in the kitchen unless I was making chop or if they were called in "to help" with prepping their own treats but in recent times a few just want to be in the same area. It can be quite annoying when uninvited. We put up a 2 door garage mesh to cover the kitchen and dining area but several figured out the mesh isn't going to hurt them and go around the sides. I've recently bought material to build a stainless steel wire wall with door to stop them from entering at their own will. When we finish up other projects it's on the hubby to do list. He's so excited - said by him never 😆

I can see the plan forming....diversionary tactics from the peanut gallery, frank runs interference to the top of your head while Dunk and Julip dive into the bag, it drops to floor where chips go flying and the whole crew has taco salad! The question is, where's the friggin guacamole?

Birdies turn into little beggars 😄. I had a green cheek conure named Bunchie, and he wanted anything and everything we were eating. So curious and smart, birds are wonderful. I miss my Bunchie. I get a lot of joy watching your feathered sweeties. 🥰

OMG! I totally am LMBO. 😂 I get that from my Birb, Joey. I can't imagine how having a flock come at you trying to distract you & "grab & go" at all cost. They are so cute & the "I Love You" tactic would melt most hearts. Then calling for "Frank" cracked me up. They aren't spoiled (😉) one iota. LOL. I'm so happy you are back, I missed you & your flock. You have my deepest sympathy for your loss. And thank you for the great example you set for any future Birb parents with your open & honest talk about what it takes in time, energy & commitment to become a Birb parent. cutiekeet & Joey
