Editing Details:
Mission Impossible 8 dream trailer was a lot of fun because upon working on this project I became a fan by immersing myself into the MI franchise. I watched every film (except the second one) including the recent Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning Part 1. Not only I became a fan of the franchise also Tom Cruise. Since he shares similarities with Jackie Chan doing his own stunts. Speaking of, every MI film has bigger and more crazier stunt so I this time I made Ethan Hunt take it to space. I think this is possible in real life because there are rumors that Tom Cruise wants to film in space, so it would only fitting that he would be the first actor to film in space.
I was gonna use the trailer music from the latest film but end up using the one from MI6 instead because MI8 was too serious, its hard to move around the edit compare to MI6 it has energy which made it more fun to edit. I begin the trailer showing Iisa Faust funeral and Ethan Hunt grieving by adding a tombstone I edited with her name to be realistic. One character I brought back was William Brandt played by Jeremy Renner. I used A.I voice for “what is IMF” and “Impossible Mission Force”. One element that I added was unmasking since this is in every MI film, thanks to fans making an edit this was possible. To bring another element which is motorcycle action I use clips from HITMAN’S BODYGUARD.
