We got Mission Viejo vs Kamehameha!
One of the best teams in Hawaii makes a trip up north to face off against one of the best teams in California!
This game was full of big hits and big plays on both sides of the ball as both teams were looking to set the tone and get a W!

Yea Hawaii teams are decent vs other Hawaii teams but when you play even decent state teams they going to get out machetes every time. The skill level difference is insane…

It's because Rancho Santa Margarita and J Serra tapped into their talent pool. Mission Viejo used to get all the big South County white dudes.

They've had their time, pre 2010 and around then they and cen10 were the big dogs they had a few years back then as the best cali team sans DLS. I honestly think what one of these schools needs 2 do is try and get nearly an entire squad of one of the good youth teams 2 all attend the same school like that group servite had a couple Years ago

It really needs to be TX and FL to routinely play Cally. One of them is constantly ducking.

hawaii actually has a winning record against california teams. A few years ago teams went 7-0 against cali. Kahuku beat bosco this year. This kamehameha team is just not that good

@@sirij8784 right on! I remember that record now that you mentioned it 7-0. I’m really hoping Kahuku/MD/SJB and BG go to Texas and play NS and Austin Westlake. Any combo will do- just need the Texas schools to say yes. I’ve heard that several schools offered to play since they were nationally relevant, but both declined. Have not heard either Texas school playing OOS.

Kamehameha oline needs to get nasty. Not the same program when I lived in Honolulu many years ago. Being a San Diego native, I'm always rooting for both states. Hawai'i population is small compared to Calli, but they take up the challenge and win some big games despite being the underdogs and not having the same resources or the amount of transfers.
