Like the lighter setup idea. I went opposite with panniers in back and a neat little shelf/rack in front. I recently dropped my pressure from 85 to 70 too. It DOES ride much better. Nice quality video and great music choice.
Thanks for watching! Yeah it was nice, but I have been carrying a little more since I change my sleep setup a bit. I got some new larger rear panniers over the winter since the old ones were a little too small to fit everything. We shall see how the new setup works. I like the idea of the front rack bag as it doesn't influence steering as much as a handlebar bag.
Looks like it will be a cool trip. That grotto was awesome. What are you using for water bottle holders? Looking for some that will take a bigger bottle. Take care and safe cycling, Al
You know it is HOT and HUMID when you hear the cicada's screaming! :) Question for you Brian... Do you get chased by dogs/animals very often while on your adventures? Have any of them ever got a hold of you? If so, how do you ward them off from them attacking you? I enjoy your videos! Very inspirational! Best regards?
I actually rarely run into animals chasing me. This day was not the norm and they never actually gave chase outside their yards. I have had a couple situations over the years with dogs being aggressive. Typically slowing down and using a stern loud "Go Home Boy" repeated several times does the job. Never had to resort to other measures.
