Mixed in among the ramshackle homes is abundant, lush greenery. Alabama is naturally a very beautiful State. The pace of life where these folks live is very slow. They don't have much but they don't have the big city stress and hectic pace. If I could, I'd buy a ramshackle in the country, renovate it and live a quiet, peaceful life there. I have family in the Northwest part of Alabama and more just a few hours away in Memphis. If all of North Florida turns to sh_t one of these years I will surely go to Alabama with a banjo on my knee!
I love North Florida/Panhandle.. Imo it’s the sanest part of the state 😂. So peaceful. I have roots/ancestors/relatives still in Alabama. Would love to tour the South
@@micai.j8920 You really should! I'm totally amazed when I go through GA, AL, Miss, Ark and more. The country, the back highways. It's completely safe and the folks are incredibly nice. Where you live is fantastic too! I love the Panhandle. I'm in Jax, the other side from you. I wouldn't live anywhere in South Florida on the Atlantic ocean side. There are great pockets elsewhere in The State. I love DeSantis and hope after he leaves office, we get another strong Gov. to continue his great work. IMHO.
Alabama and Mississippi are beautiful states, especially the northern parts. As a Central Floridian (Orlando), North Florida and West Florida (panhandle) should be safe, unlike the rest of our state, which has turned to ish with sooooo many people who have taken up residency here. Geezus. It really makes me nauseous whenever I leave my home.
Love seeing the dirty south, these places are just a few hrs drive from where im at, people dont realize how good they got it. If you drive just a few hours from alot of places youll see a big difference whether its for better or worse.
You know what though? A lot of those folks were outside just hanging out with one another. You sure as hell don't see that in the north(at least where i live).😒

I’m from mobile/pritchard. And there are actually nicer homes and neighborhoods there. It’s fairly small. I wish he would’ve captured the better parts of Pritchard.

I’m from Montgomery #334 #36105 #36108 You gotta get footage of neighborhoods there, like: The Shack in West Montgomery (Mobile Highway)- a family community of about 7 streets and EVERYONE is related, looks like something off of In The Heat of the Night; Newtown (North Montgomery) not my stomping grounds; Madison Park (North Montgomery) where chicken coups are in the front yards & people riding on horses, also a family community; and The Bottom (Auburn Street, Troy Street, Bellview Court) West Montgomery, my neck of the woods! All of the areas are heavily impoverished, dated, and considered off limits but they’re chill certain parts of the day. Best believe, the residents know when a foreigner enters. Still, they are harmless…. If you are. Those projects, like Gibbs Village, I wouldn’t recommend you touring them. Speed bumps are massive. Anyway, great content, brethren🛐✨🫡🙏🏾🫶🏾💪🏾✊🏾

I’m ready to leave the big city for something like this. These people have it good to me. I’m tired of trying to keep up with fast pace, expensive city living. Give me a home, bbq grill, radio and let me be free…. lol. My city got homeless people, drug addicts, hella expensive. I’m ready to move to the country NOW. idc. I wanna be free.

Mississippi is the worst, because the Republican leadership refuses to accept any serious financial aid from the U.S government to help those in really need in Mississippi! Hence, look at the housing in Arkansas, Alabama and Mississippi?
The only cursed people are bigots like you and your parents. These people don't represent an entire race just like poor Appalachia, poor white rural areas, or people who shoot up schools don't represent an entire race.
Of course there's beautiful African American homes with successful African Americans families. These videos are just another way to keep racism alive, and a nation divided.
