Her mom may have been with several guys at the same time but they all seem to have been real sweethearts. She was looking for love in all the right places and her daughter was the result. No judging. That is human nature and nature finds a way
@@qarinero6407 and the guys who do it?? who live that way?? what word do you and others who are low IQ enough to agree with you - what word do you have for all the men who do the exact same thing?, you hypocritical, neanderthal *idiot.*
ABC put this girl through a lot of emotional turmoil with the first two possibilities. They could give the guys a DNA test before meeting them and getting her hopes up.
ENGLISH TUTOR agreed! They have a show all about this stuff in the U.K., and they always make sure to do that. It's not right to set someone up for that heartbreak.
It’s beautiful that he accepted her into his life. Some people might not be as embracing as him. Also, when he showed his younger picture, the resemblance was definitely there! I’m happy for them.
This is a beautiful story! What a wonderful man. My husband found his father after 20 years of looking and his father doesn't want to have anything to do with him. It's so sad and so heart breaking.
My goodness does she resemble her Father! That is amazing. What is also so sad is all these men seem to have very fond memories and loving feelings toward her mother. Her Mom said she was searching for love, and these men did seem to very much care for her. This man who is her Father pretty much said flat out that he loved her Mom. There must be something that her Mom was going through that didn’t allow her to accept love, for whatever reason. Heck, she didn’t even remember him, which just shows me she wasn’t in her right mind.
It's a real possibility that she was prostituting during those days. No judgement here at all. Just stating a possibility because the actual dad was a truck driver... it's not uncommon at truck stops. Who would want to admit that to a child?!
@@rrjohn5 - unlikely she was prostituting. Didn't it say she was in the National Guard? If so, she had a regular income. More likely just someone looking for love and not being able to believe it if she found it.
Oh how great Amanda did not give up her search to find her dad, she did find him and she looks just like him, twins. He is very happy to see her, this is wonderful and you can see how close their are, I'm Happy for them.
My birth mom refuses to tell me my fathers name. She hurt a lot of people first though. She lied and said it was this man, and then when that was a bust she said oh it's this guy. When the lies built up she said she never intended to tell me ever. I'm so happy this lady has answers at last.
Love the fact that the first 2 men, even after finding out they weren't the biologic father wanted to stay in her life. That's old school for you. Had mean crying from the first and now I have to go pet my cat so I can feel manly again. Excuse me.
Mam this was a roller-coaster ride of emotions . I literally cried as I was watching. Such beautiful reunion. I have 2 of my own and I can't imagine not having them around me . Yet you 2 had a long wait . Happy ending.
This was suggested today. No idea why. But glad I watched it. Nice to see such acceptance and love on both sides. These stories don't always turn out so well.
So happy to see her happy ending! I found my Poppa when I was 60 years old. He didn't know about me either. My bio Mother put me up for adoption. Best thing she did for me. Poppa is now 90 and going strong. First time we met face to face, he held me tight and said You sure are my baby girl. Didn't understand it fully until I met my half sister... we could be twins !
Haven't seen my babies for 17 years. The mother lied and I tried everything to have them home, until she died a year ago. Still to this day, I am broken and lost. I never cheated, I never beat on her, I hardly ever drank. She was my best friend.
@Brian Johnson I reunited with my dad when i was 21/22... There was a very bitter, protracted divorce and my mom involved me it their mess at such a young age, that i didn't want to keep seeing my dad. a lot of lost time, but totally worth it! You should try to reunite with them.
To God Be The Glory! I am So Happy for you All! When Amanda called him Daddy, I Instantly cried tears of Joy, Must have been such an Awesome feeling, what a Beautiful Blessing❣️
Good I'm so glad she got to find her dad and he had open arm's. Your both so blessed. As a young child I lived in Casper. We were there maybe 2 yrs. But it was a good time. I think that's where I found love with snow!!!🌨🌨❄⛄
So it's ok for men not remember the names of women they've slept with but it's scandalous for a women not to remember a man she slept with? Talk about double standards! Women can enjoy sex just as much as any man. Stop with this stigma already! It's easy to criticize when you're sitting behind a screen typing away your insults but if we were to put any of you in the limelight, what deep dirty secrets would be revealed about your life? This type of stigma is exactly why there's so much hatred and judgement in the world. I'm sure her mother deeply regrets the pain she has caused her daughter but there's no need to shame her now! It's not our place to do so. Think about your own indiscretions and skeletons the next time you feel the need to belittle someone for theirs!
It's a double standard, but it's a perfectly sensible one. Considering the enormity of the consequences, from time to time. What's all this pc bullshit about shaming the mother ? Who did that ? The programme makers, is who. If they didn't tell us, how would we know ?
There is a big difference between men and women you idiot, women get pregnant ! So the least they can do it truck the endless men they sleep with!!! Come on ! Cause otherwise the only one that pays is the little bastard child !! You moron
Natasha Conrad amen to that sister! I’ve never slept around myself or anything like that BUT totally agree with u, I’ve gotta very low sex drive but many of my mates r the opposite n fair play to them, I don’t judge others end of the day each person has enough of there own problems in life so why fill ur head with other people’s business, end of the day if someone else’s situation don’t involve u then don’t butt into it lol 😂 life’s too short to b running around pointing the finger n judging others xxxx love n light to u xxxx
Awesome story, filled me with happiness when she met her dad. Personal reasons this happens all too often. I know they will be in contact. God bless them all. ❤ ❤ 👋 🇦🇺
Beautiful goosebumps 💖🥰 so happy for Amanda and her newfound daddy! Blessings to all those others who are in a quest to look for their biological parent or family members! We need more stories like this to counter all the negative news on the media these days! It’s like a fairytale come true!
It’s always weird to me when someone is adopted and they have amazing adoptive parents then they go searching for the biological parents. They always feel like something was missing. It’s just soo strange to me. But I am not adopted. So it’s hard for me to understand.
Im so happy for you Amanda, you finally found closure on a very long journey! Bless you...a new happy beginning in your life with your dad and extended family...☺️
It is literally the best feeling in the whole wide world, and I got siblings to boot! My mom helped me find him though, when I was ready! Now I have two dad's!
This is the best one in a long long time thank you. Maybe someday I'll figure out how to find out if I actually was a twin when I was born been a question all my life and mom's gone now
I’m so happy for this woman!! I found my bio dad via ancestry, I’m a product of a one night stand in 1984… It has been about 5 years since I have reached out and he as well as his family pretty much rejected me. Oh well I guess, I am still blessed with my own family and I am thankful for them!
Please be serious with life and don't have night stands and quick encounters. Because such things leave big scars on the children who born out of such relationships. Luckily this was "solved" but there are hundred of thousands if not millions that will never be solved.
Hey, I'm not gonna judge! I can't remember yesterday. Ask me about something obviously uneventful that happened 30 years ago then I definitely wouldn't remember. No judging here.
Hello Amanda, Amanda here🌻 At 55 (last August) i found out my name sake father wasn't mine. On the 4th of July i signed up with ancestry site, my dna kit is on it way. Im from Cape Town in South Africa, my bio dad might be an America navy guy, apparently. My mom to was looking for love in all the wrong places. Thank you for your story, given me strength today.
Her Mother should be ashamed. How do you not know who your child's Father is or even remember men you have slept with? Look how it has emotionally and mentally affected your child.
Women judging women are just nasty. Can you not think of any reason a woman may not remember a sexual partner's name that puts the blame on the man? #metoo
The father said they were dating for over a month. That may or may not be true. He may have been seeing her and talking with her for a month. They may have actually gone out on a date only once which is why she didn't remember him. It was not, after all, last month!!! Thirty-three years is a long time.
Wow that be so hard for Amanda having a Mother who screwed around so much she was unable to identify Amanda's Father. Samuel was # 2. That was IMORAL & CRUEL to introduce Samuel & Amanda BEFORE a DNA test was done. How many men were there during 1 month ? Then her Mother didn't ever remember Amanda's father (or his name).
I was crying right along with ya. I am in a simular boat. I was told at least 3 different men were my dad. I am currently sorting matches in two different tests to find my father.
