This was my song when it came on the radio back in 2003 gosh it was over I was letting loose back in the day when her fourth studio album under construction was released in 2002 and this song was sampled from the 1981 song the double dutch bus.

Jenna Dewan (Channing Tatum's now ex-wife) is one of the dancers in the video. She was also Janet Jackson's backup dancer during the All For You era. She starred in the movie Step Up with Channing Tatum (which is how they met). She's not a singer, but you should see her dance to Pony she did on Lip Sync Battle...

The woman who was rapping is named Ms Jade. She has a few songs of her own.

The female rapper during the break down name is Ms. Jade. She was signed to Timbaland but her career never really took off. Her music is dope though. Missy Elliott Is the most entertaining and talented artist ever behind Michael Jackson. If you really think about it her sound and music videos were far ahead of its time. People are really going to see how sick of an artist she is when she is gone. Missy deserves all her flowers now 💐.

This was a high school & college jam. This era from Missy was so much fun. As far as people discussing her weight, when this album came out Missy had slimmed down noticeably due to health reasons so her transformation between albums was definitely a discussion.

The “izz” was heard in all of the words in the song’s refrain. It reminds of the language game Ubbi Dubbi which was seen on the PBS Kids show “Zoom”.

4:08 The little White girl's name is Alyson Stoner. She shows up in a bunch of Missy videos after this. She's a dancer and actress, now. She also ended up in a lot of Disney movies because of this and she was in a couple of the "Step Up" movies

If I recall correctly, some of the little kids dancing in the video are in several of Missy's videos. I remember being in hs when this came out and I was jealous of those little kids lol

The video is at a school because Missy was saying Folks Gossip like little school girls. If you pay attention you will see people whispering in the background. That "breakdown" is actually a different song. Also in the intro of the song when they say "I hear she only eat one cracker a day". Was about how quickly she lost so much weight. This was before surgery and crash diets were "popular". Not saying it's right just explaining a little. There was also a shot at her sexual preference. Sign of how much things have changed.

They said that because she lost a lot of weight. She was accused of not eating or having surgery. Missy needed none of that!!! She can accomplish anything she sets her mind to! Clearly. She did it for her health.

I love how Missy would incorporate a 2nd song into her videos (here it's Funky Fresh Dressed f. Ms. Jade). I believe she started doing that on her So Addictive album. Also the amount of artist cameos in her videos were insane! Especially considering that many hadn't even contributed to the track. The fact that some heavy hitters didn't even require a feature mention says a lot. Her music is still ahead of the game "often copied but never duplicated". :)
