Yesss!! 🔥 As soon as "Sock It To Me" started and we see Missy on the giant screen in the same spacesuit from the music video FLYING towards us, I got goosebumps and couldn't stop screaming LOL 🚀🫨 Also LOVED the visuals for "Get Ur Freak On"; it was like the music video came to life! 🥹

If Cirque Du Solei met Hip-hop...this was it. Top 3 best concert I have ever been to. Everything from the visuals to the dancing to the lights. Ya'll had to be there.

'Gossip Folks' was LITTTTT! Missy flying over the audience like that, you can see the crowd all dancing in the reflection underneath. I love her song selection too. Didn’t leave anything out! And she didn’t cut all the songs short, as so many artists do nowadays…

Everytime I see her, I can’t help but think she must be so sad to go on without her best friend, Liyah, her and Aaliyah were friends since they met in 1996, she basically helped start her career when she chose her and Timbaland to produce her second album.
she rapped partially like the verses and choruses but the areas where she screams or has stacked vocals she lipped to be able to dance. you can hear her live between the backrecording.
I will never forget the first time I played " Get your Freak on" remix with Nelly F. People were literally grinding on top of the speakers. 21 years later I still have some Missy Elliot ready to go.

I font think Missy is lip syncing. This is the same woman that performed at the awards sick. When Missy performs she brings it. There is no lip syncing!
@AriliusM I agree. Had the same issue when I saw janet last year; it's only made evident by the moments when they actually do the singing, making it very obvious
I love Missy but she lip sync all the time. She's been doing this throughout the 2000s. Whatever a war show that you're talking about, she would probably lip syncing there too. Probably talking about the VMAs, I think she was lip syncing there too. She rarely raps live.
