Sheldon doesn't understand how to react properly in social situations,he can't lie ,he can't keep secrets unless he's been contractually obligated to ,he has a need to always have closure, his character is basically a robot
I understand Missy. It was the straw that broke the camels back. I usually respond pretty harsh when I’m at the end of my rope. Especially when someone accuses me of something I didn’t do.
Me too, when I had my fall semester of college, I had a hard time and was still grieving with the death of my father, then my great aunt died during the semester from cancer. I was just like this to some of my classmates who weren’t exactly the most supportive of what I was going through. We all had a group project to do and when I suggested how I can do something for it like dancing, they kinda teased me for it and I was saying how obnoxious some of them were acting, especially through texts. And when I tried to excuse myself because of my recent passing of my great aunt, one of them was like “What do you need a moment for!?” So I went off on her, saying how she was being an insensitive jerk and left the class.
True tho but I would catch myself being rude and decide whether to apologize after because I dont like causing conflicts. (Side note I feel so bad for the teacher she looks horrified)
They tried yk. She stopped hanging out with George, thinking him as embarassing. She never talked to Mary whenever Mary wanted to talk to her, thinking that she's just bugging her. She for some reason wants special treatment for nothing. Sheldon atleast talks to his parents whenever he gets the chance. She's just always talking to Heather B and M and her meemaw. Also, the reason she's so upset is because they left her at school. But there's a valid reason too, cause Mandy was giving birth. Yeah, they should've handled it better, like calling the school staff or smth, but still. She ran away from home with her dad's car because they thought that being with a woman who's giving birth to their grandchild is more important than picking up their daughter from school. I don't know man, I just think her reasoning isn't great. I'm telling that after rewatching the show. You can see many times that she's the one who's shutting off or stopping any communication with her parents. Fuck it, girls are confusing. Even scientists can't understand them.
Watch the show first...mary and george just got drowned in their own battles...not cuz of mandy giving birth to cece lol...remember brenda and pastor rob??....she left cuz she she felt ignored and she was really mad...also i dont reckon anyone getting mad when sheldon ran away....also georgie too spoke back to his parents and went off to party several times when he was in high school...the only difference is, georgie never mentioned...like for eg, the dance, missy wanted to go and mary didnt allow...but georgie mentions 'I maybe stupid but i m not that dumb' when asked by mary 'what kind of secrets have u been hiding' @@SaiyanElite-gp4vn
People keep praising Missy too much. She had her own flaws and though that’s her being a teenager, it’s great she learned to fix her mistakes in the Big Bang theory.
@@gaurynair7639 actually you go watch that show again, because marry changed her desicion later in the episode, and stop overreacting about Missy, seriously she is really the one who shut the door when it comes to communication with family,so she don't have the right to cry about it
The context is honestly a bit different. Sheldon is totally an asshat a lot of times, but it's also made pretty apparent both in this show and BBT that Sheldon's douchey behavior is mostly from a complete lack of self-awareness in social situations. She knew exactly what she was doing. And honestly, it was a great burn on her teacher lol.
But It Makes Me Think He Was Being A Pussy-Wussy. It Looks Like He Was Hiding He Feelings From His OWN Family. Even If You Had Problems (But Only Small Problems), You Should Never Hide Your Own Feelings From Others, Especially Your Family. IK I Do It, Sometimes, But It’s Not Cool.
Does nessy have Asperger syndrome no she doesn't sheldon is not mean out pure malice like Nessy she literally call her brother a freak the glazing in comment section is crazy
@@larrywatson5022 Missy not Nessy plus it was confirmed by BBT creators who also CREATED young Sheldon that Sheldon DOESN'T have Asperger/ADHD and is not on spectrum, he just an narcist and an a$$
Acting disrespectful as a adult deserves this kind of behaviour. She cheated on her husband and got pregnant with his child. But Missy is acting out of line? 😂
all her life in young Sheldon has always been put last so what is she latching out. She’s trying to get her parents attention. Marry was a horrible mother to Missy growing up. But her dad wasn’t
George. Don’t Hide Your Feelings From Your Fam. IK I Would Do Something Like That, But It’s Usually For Big Problems. This From What I’m Seeing Is Not A Big Problem.
I feel so bad for Missy in this episode. She's spilling what has been inside her chest for her entire life and got grounded instead of the apologize she deserves
I love that they add a funny bit into a serious moment, also missy is so wild and amazing fir that line 😂😂 "I guess you would know what cheating looks like, ask your husband" Had me rolling 😂😂😂
She's not though, missy is the one who rejects them. She stopped her daddy dates, always ignores Mary when she wants to talk to her. When your parents want to hang out with you and all you do is reject them then you cannot fault them for stopping
@@alizahahsan2109 well Sheldon is special, but my point is that Missy at one point just rejects any form of bonding from her parents. You can't blame others when you keep pushing them away. Tell me when you have friends and never talk to them, hang with them etc... what happens? You drift apart, simple as that. If you get mad at them then you're delusional cause relationships go both ways. Can't always expect others to reach out for you. You also gotta make an effort which missy doesn't .
@@lil_doggo_of_doom is that their fault then? No, no one forced her to push her parents away. Missy is just at that age where she thinks parents are lame and that everyone is against her
I agree with Missy but at the same time I'm not. She should know better than to talk during a test. And so what if your parents forget to pick you up one time? It's a mistake. And if you don't want to be invisible, maybe don't say no to outings with your dad or ignore your mom. You showed them that you don't care to hang out with them so that's on you.
I won't comment on the outings part as I know too little. Was Missy cheating or just talking in that scene because if she was just talking to someone not about the test the teacher had no reason to assume she was cheating thus targeting her because it's Missy which is wrong and I fully support that roast to the teacher if u don't respect ur students ur students shouldn't respect u. Just casually forgetting ur kid is still at school isn't a rare thing bur I agree under normal circumstances that getting mad over it like this would be dumb, however this was not normal Mandy was having her baby and everyone her older brother forgot her which makes sense her twin forgot her, her own parents forgot her and meemaw even forgot her none of these I just said are acceptable 3 adults in her family could've drove and got her and they all would've still been there for the birth of Mandy's child but nope just casually forget a child u have yeah I'd be pissed too.
I really feel bad for Missy bc it’s true that her entire life she has been ignored as Sheldon is the favourite and Georgie has a baby now and dropped out of school. When Sheldon gets in trouble they let it slide. Georgie gets a girl pregnant it’s only a little talk (not including the reputation he got) but for missy it’s grounding, yelling and more.
man, I don't even watch Young Sheldon but I've seen so many of these clips that I'm constantly reminded of the one where Missy ripped up Sheldon's poster, and Mary comes home to make her apologize, and Missy accuses her asking why is she always taking Sheldon's side... poor girl
Poor girl? Just because your upset dosnt mean u can kick your brother out of the room he lives in too. I dont care how upset u are u cant broke other peoples things because your upset in the adult world that can get u arrested stop babying a person that shuts off and pushes everyone away use your words and communicate.
@@larrywatson5022 me thinks you haven't really watched the show either... Missy gets treated like crap most of the time, and Sheldon is the one who gets babied....
the teacher deserved it. She was kind of a B the whole series. Plus Missy had been dealing with quite a lot a majority of the series. She was bound the snap with her family issues and always being in the shadow of Sheldon.
In the real world everyone has their struggles, that doesn't give u this right to be a bitch u don't know that teachers story, why because she able to manage her emotions and not chew innocent people out.
The worst part is, neither parent could see past their own anger to hear that clear cry for attention and love. Parents, please listen when your child starts talking like this!!!!
@@woahbzzz4823 not typically, but in high enough stress they can give hints/clues into it. Saying things like “like you care” or “oh so this is what you’re focusing on?” Or any other phrases that may indicate that the acting out is parent caused should ALWAYS be watched for. They may not say it directly, but there will be signs/signals
When I was younger, I used to feel this way with my smart little brother but now I can see things with a new perspective. While Sheldon does do rude things all the time and gets away with it, it never came from a place of malice, its more of a lack of understanding of other people and he only has his own feelings to base on what other feels. Missy on ther hand knows exactly how others feels and her rude remarks are more delibrately so they are far more unacceptable in the eyes of his parents though they could have done a better job on curbing Sheldon ego and demeanor, no ones perfect, not even parents, they're still people with flaws so cut them some slack. Missy's remarks were still uncalled for so they have the right to be mad but at the same time, they should pay attention to her more as a result.
For those who don't know/ only know a couple of shorts from the show: the teacher was the wife of George's best friend (who's also the high school P.E. coach). She cheated on him, so he was sleeping on the Coopers' couch until he found a place to stay.
Ugh poor missy she is invisible and is always forgotten unless she’s in trouble 😢 I also hate how Sheldon does say obnoxious stuff all the time (btw I love the show and am not hating I am literally watching young Sheldon rn)
CAUTION, THS COMMENT MAY INCLUDE SPOILERS:Instead of feeling bad when Missy said “May as well be invisible” Mary just replies by yelling at her. Sheldon just gets special treatment, he has been heartless on a relatives death, he acts like he is better than everyone, and brags all the time. He thinks the world revolves around him. Mary already realized from the twin test that Missy is being neglected, so she did ONE thing to be included, then she started giving Sheldon special treatment from then on.
@Oracles_Journal… | But It Proves George Was Being A Scaredy-Cat, CryBaby, Because It Looks Like He’s Hiding His Feelings From His Family All For A Somewhat Mid Problem. You Should Always Hide Your Feelings/Emotions From People Only For Big Problems.
To be honest I feel for Missy's character but in my opinion Missy likes to independent when she has problems she resorts to running away, Sheldon when he has a problem he's more vocal about it, and she can be cruel at times when not necessary like that when their parents were fighting because Mary didn't want to Sheldon to go to college yet "their fighting because your a freak" making Sheldon cry and upset, Sheldon can be obnoxious but he doesn't do it to be hurtful most of the time, he sees things from his prospective and blurts it out.
Sheldon isn’t really a brat, he’s spoiled. He’s also a know-it-all which makes him kind of annoying. He is a lot better at being a good person as he gets older
I have a gifted daugther and beleive me, it's hard to put limits when she knows she is smartest than everybody since she is four. I totally understand how hard is to see her having a hard time to make friends that doesn't understand anything she does
Im with Missy. She already said she is not cheating. And yet the teacher said thats not what is "looks like". Missy is a young teen. Iam not saying its alright for her to say that, but its common behavior for her age. And usually ppl like her live a happier teen life, than the very well behave and very care about other's feeling even when they were being mean.
Missy seems like shed be emotionally intelligent enough to point out to her parents that her own acting out is a reault of feeling neglected and wanting to feel seen
Can’t believe people can’t help but to just constantly side with Missy Even if Missy wasn’t a twin and they never had Sheldon she’d still be acting out and ignoring her family
@@lil_doggo_of_doom you’re telling me that the teenage girl that’s been sneaking out since the age of 9, smokes cigarettes with her friend, and stole a truck would go on a complete 180 if she didn’t have a smart brother?
Missy is so irritating and annoying anytime mary or George wants to do anything with her she rejects them its her fault Sheldon always talks to the mom and stuff so if he's the favorite she's gonna have to get over it and be a better person in my opinion i don't rlly like sheldon or missy but i really don't like missy
Well I would say this I get what Missy is coming from even that they forgot to get her or she thinks she left out. And plus she didn't even want hang out with Dad or talk to her mom I would say that's no excuse for her to talk to her teacher that way sometimes I don't hate Missy but sometimes she gets really rude like really rude 👈
Missy was so terrible throughout the entire show. Every time she opened her mouth to talk, you knew it was gonna be something dumb or rude. Her actor did an amazing job
