There's a saying I like to use when I'm helping my clients plan for their adventures: "If it's not on the list, it doesn't exist." Because the reality is, there's usually a lot going on when you're getting ready for a backpacking trip, and there's a good amount of items you want to bring, so it's easy to forget something.
