By the time I was 18, elderly people kept saying I was like a 30 year old man in a teenage body. I don’t regret it one bit, but I do however find myself struggling with the idea of settling down in one place for the rest of my life, which might be a pattern coming from my childhood.

Not to mention, the kid won’t even remember most of these trips. I went to Hawaii when i was 5 and I still barely remember any of it (I only remember the water elevator at the grand wailea and part of the luau we went to)

You don't have time to change his diaper when all you do on the plane is sit and be bored. But after all, other passengers love to sniff pee all flight long. And they also love to listen to the toddler play, make sounds, etc. I have never understood why they take such small children on the plane and so many times

I feel bad for all the passengers on the flight. If you travel that much, maybe you should learn how to potty train your kid. All the toddlers I knew growing up were already potty trained and didn't even have to wear diapers. You should also consider carrying less items on the plane, for the sake of other people. I just find letting you kid sit in his own pee and have others smell it is super inconsiderate.
You do know that not everyone is potty trained the moment they turn one right? It is average for children to start being potty trained at 2 or 3 years old and usually won't be fully potty trained till 4. Also she never said she didn't try and clean up the seat, you're obviously not the only one saying this, but it is honestly rude and everyone should really stop acting like she's the worst and a terrible person just because her child wet himself.

While I do agree with your point not all babies cry. I have a three year old sister and on a plane she just sits and sleeps, plays on her kindle, And does stickers and stuff. As a family of five it would make traveling even more difficult for families. Not to mention it would raise prices because the airlines have to pay for more fuel, food, and other services. Last year I took a flight and there were two small children who were unattended on the flight. We asked one of the stewardesses how old the kids were and if they could even be on the flight alone (considering how dangerous airports can be) and she said they were 6 and 7, 6 being the minimum age you can fly on a plane alone. I completely agree, children shouldn't be allowed on planes, unattended or not.
Its the effort that matters remember or not its vitally important for a parent to you know...spend time with the child in their crucial years of development

Yeah, my brother was like 3 when he went on his first flight and I don’t think he remembers anything. I would want to make sure that when flying with a child that they are at least potty trained, you have medicine (bc on the last flight my sister was on, she was vomiting bc she didn’t eat anything for over 10 hours), and to teach your kids to be respectful of others.

I remember the time on a flight I was going back home from Spain and there was a baby maybe around two years old and for most of the flight the mother was sing a nursery rhyme counting up from 1 to 3 and i can't tell you how the repeating of that song was the most annoying thing on earth and my seat was being kick by this toddler next to the two year old probably the longest flight of my life
