Mistakes You Must Not Make In No Contact 

Whoever breaks up with this guy is screwed lol. Edit: Its been 2 years since I wrote this comment and I just wanna say that I was so deeply hurt and heartbroken at the time I wrote this. I just wanna go back in time and give myself a hug. But I want everyone to know a couple things, 1. My ex ended up reaching out to me about a year later. 2. It didnt matter because I found my true love already. I never in a million years would have thought i would get over my ex, I watched every freaking video this guy made. But I PROMISE, time will heal all wounds, and the right person WILL COME. I am happier now than I ever was with my ex and the person I’m with now makes me feel more loved than anyone. I remember clear as day how everytime I used to think of my ex, it would LITERALLY feel like someone is stabbing my heart. It actually hurt. It was a sharp pain in my chest I could never forget. But I actually laugh because now, its NOTHING. I laugh at the fact I even thought that way ab my ex lmao. Sometimes even cringe. But anyways, just want yall to know it will be ok, and as much as I know you dont wanna hear that your ex isnt the one for you… I would say that if they hurt you once, it means they really dont have much love for you anyways and it probably wont last. HOWEVER, I promise God has someone out there for all of us. Sometimes we are put through these difficult times because I KNOW it makes us stronger ( It definitely made me stronger ) So use this time to focus on yourself, improve on yourself, and eventually when the time is right, they will come. My mom always said our timing and Gods timing are very different. God always knows the best time. Just be patient. :) Glad this comment got so many laughs, but please keep in mind what I said if you read this far.

You should ALWAYS do "no contact" after a breakup. Not necessarily to get your ex back, but for your own sake and your own health.

I am so grateful I found you. In times past I have listened to other coaches and it was always about sending certain texts or certain words that should be spoken...I never tried any of those approaches because I saw it as a form of manipulation. My 2 year relationship just ended 4 days ago. It has been so hard but I have called friends or family members every time I wanted to call him. Friends and family are great to have at times like this. It makes the "no contact" much easier. Now when I cannot sleep at night, I have you at the click of a mouse to bring me reassurance I am on the right path for me. My biggest problem is over analyzing 😪

First in foremost the “no contact rule” works, surprisingly in my situation it works twice! This the second time I use it on the same person but I’m at a point I realize I deserve better sadly and plus she’s in a rebound relationship and still reaching out too me like crazy asking mad questions about our relationship but how long does it start working? As soon as you stop reaching out! Yea I know crazy but as soon as you stop reaching out is when it works. If you were in a long term relationship 3 to 6 years, just know your in luck unless you was shitty as person than your out of luck but if you was in a long term, it will start working as soon as possible, so stick to no contact and don’t try to break it and if you do, redo it again cause I know it’s hard

Of all the helpful friends and family I have right now, of all the videos and articles I've read, you sir are by far the most relatable and comforting experience. I've just lost my girlfriend and step son of 3 years to a very quit and what seems like sudden decision and she has forced me, at 31, to move back on with my parents. Day 1 of my no contact, I've broken it already when I was 4 days in. Hopefully it will work out, we were together for four years and we never had serious arguments. My ex broke up with me. It hurt because she just stopped answering my calls or texts. She gave me the no contact treatment. I got over her but 6 months later, she contacted me and we were “back together”. Terrible mistake. I had changed, she had changed. We broked up again amicably and I’m better. Fake It Til You Make It

Basically I fucked everything what you said. She broke it off after I lashed out at her. Several days after I did the same after she tested me by saying she lied and she likes someone else. I got pissed again. One week no contact. I will concentrate on bettering myself. It was my fault why she broke up and I understand her, though she wasn't all that without a fault, but it seems someone else will get better me.

I have done pretty much everything [ beg, crying, contacting my ex, saying i wont bother him any longer and a goodbye ]. I honestly dont really know what to do anymore and its been 2 months now. Ive tried my best not to contact him and trying my best to let him go at my own pace. Deep down i still miss him a lot and i want him back, but at the same time, i think i need to be by myself, figure myself out and hopefully sooner or later i could function well with or without him. i wish all of us good luck.

It's 19 days today no contact and I feel miserable. It's difficult for me to move on and let go. I'm hurting right now. All I want is to heal and move on. I think I made the error of kind of saying we would go into a period of no contact, I meant it more like I know we are talking for a few days after the breakup but at some point we won't be talking anymore. So I hope I didn't mess that up.

I’ve applied no contact (my girlfriend broke up with me almost 2 months ago) but she’s the one that sort of kept initiating contact SOMEWHAT, but not really. I was in pain while the breakup was fresh, so I confided in a female friend and we ended up sleeping together. Then my ex found out, and she broke into MY no contact by calling me, just to tell me how shitty I am and “now we definitely aren’t getting back together” etc etc. then she preceded to block me on all social media. But she kept all my family and friends online? Whatever. Anyway I told everyone I don’t want to know what she’s up to, but they’ll drop breadcrumbs here and there that she posts angry memes pointing towards me, that I can’t even see since I’m blocked. She’s acting insanely childish about the breakup that SHE WANTED, and I’m realizing it now while typing this. Wow. I dodged a bullet I guess.

My situation is a little different. I did the breaking up first from a trigger from my past. But after a couple days I then realized I made a mistake and tried to get him back. But then he broke up with me. He breadcrumbed me for 3 weeks and then I told him it’s better off we do no communication he agreed then text me right after and said I really have missed you. I didn’t respond it’s been a couple days. Update: was in no contact for 8 days and my ex reached out. I respond but stayed in no contact only reaching out when he did. And We’re supposed to meet up today! It works! Update: he stood me up.

I did not say „I am going in no contact now“. But when he offered friendship I said that’s not what wanted, I wanted to work on the relationship. I said I have to accept his decision and that „ I need space now to heal and let you go“. He respected that. I am afraid though that now he waits for me to be ready for just friendship.😢 And moreover he knows that right now I won’t reach out, he is not wondering when I might be reaching out…. Asking myself if by these words in the breakup moment I destroyed my chances of no contact working. 😢

well... I'm going through a breakup.. Been 3days now. I miss what we had and I miss him but I also accepted the fact that he chickened out and is not ready to fight for me. So much pain and grieve. 3,5 months ago after a insane incident i refused to let him in. Said every time go to the clinical to detox! When you do that thén you can talk and come. In this no contact time he came april every week or 10 days at my door. Didnt let him in say did you arranged an appointment in clinic? No? Only when you do you can come in... last time is a month ago, since then i did not see him. He reacted then with a tone in his voice you dont let me in?...like a sort of thread in it. I ingrediënten that. When he was leaving i shouted after him go to the clinic!!! Myself i was bit more calm in 3 months. Improving myself and my house. Some moments suddenly i do grieve. Other live my life. But i miss the love... i hope he starts to miss me and wants to go back and wants to do éverything to be together, including detox. But i think next to it he is not ging to do so.... i have already conclude i dont want this disrespect and bad behaviour of him cause he uses cocaïne, alcohol etc.... so many years i have seen him gliding off . It got worser every year. He has to hit rockbottom. I try to live without him and the love i have for him, to save myself... i got more and more health problems. Now since 3 months i start to feel a bit better, i feel i climb up. Although, there are moments i unexpectecly cry... i am mourning the loss of the love of my life....i wished there happens a miracle. But i have to be senseable. This love for him is so strong, it stil stays that way, although he did so man hurtfull things! I am surprised myself about it. In last 3 no contact months i got memories about what he did to me to hurt me... then i get angry and hate him even. Psychotic. I try to let it loose, gave it to God... i did everything i could with him. It is a shame everything got so bad only due to his increasing addictions. Still love him..., 14 years. In this time i have to learn to love myself even more !! Its very very sad.... there is a tiny little bit in me thats hope it will change and a miracle happens, and i can be happy again and have love in my life. I am determent to have no contact till the end to force him in a way to do something about his state of being !!

This video by Coach Lee has saved me from mistakes that I would have otherwise made as a dumpee. No contact may or may not get her back. But one thing I know for sure, by NC I will redeem some self respect and dignity. I am not hoping much after realising I was just a rebound for 14 months. My only hope is she will eventually know I can be a better option. But that may take months or years. Uncertainty can be more punishing than bad news. I am not going to punish myself for such an indefinite period, as though her cruelty wasn't enough.

Can somebody give a perspective on this? I broke up with him, cause he gave the silent treatment for a week, he didnt respond to my text, promised to talk and went silent. We dated for two years. I found him after that week on tinder (made a fake account). So i broke up. When coach Lee talks about if you are the one who broken up you should be the one who reach out, but there are exceptions!

I told her she was going to be blocked on everything the night she discarded me so that she could no longer have access to me to hurt me and I walked out. Unfortunately I had to email her for divorce things. After the papers were signed I said my final goodbye and said I was blocking her email now. Either way, still no contact because she's unhealthy.

I really don't KNOW if I did the breaking UP....He broke up with me, for another girl.....then he has been trying to get me back, but without an apology or explanation & so after I left his house last time (no sex)...I left crazy messages telling him how I felt for 3 days and he did respond....3 days later! Day 5. No contact. Partner of 12 years, planned a casual outing early in the morning (7am) when he called to say good morning. 5hours later I call him because he said he'd call back. He picks up phone, I ask him what he's doing hence we had plans to celebrate New year's together..his reply? He's out golfing, and he'll be done in 5 hours. I was under impression we had plans. "MAKE ADJUSTMENTS" He tells me laughing. My heart got crushed because our 12 years together he wouldn't say anything like that... No word from him. No contact on my part , I'm in pain because I want to marry this man. Yes he knows this. New year s passed, yes I was among friends, just I'd never think he would be so rude. Yet I think the world of him because he is kind, nice...I just don't understand why he'd brush me off that way. Still waiting. Going on day 6. His comment was aloof, he basically blew me off for golf AND didn't even give me heads up. If he called and told me "change of plans,etc" I think I would not be so hurt. All he had to do is let me know. That's all. He's not reaching out.

She came back from spain and we still dident talk. I got me a god job as a mecanic , and started working. She contacted me and then turned cold again. I startes chassing her and she pulled awey. She became cold and disetant. I became more and more needi. She back away and told me she dont love me no more and that she want to Move on. So becuse of me feeling that i messed up this relationship and was now in a better situajson i coud fix it. But it dident happen. We meet up last time and hade ha hugeargument and she left. So i went for a rebaound relationship whitaout knowing its one. We broke up ofc 3 months later. I thing my ex knows this. I dident post it ore told her. But we live in a small city . So i think she knows , about the reabaund relationship. But she dont know that we broke up. I think. But now she is showing her selv in profile picture whit a gold ring on her left hand. But no actuall pics of a new relationship. Ore following some new gye. Nothing. Not on her page ore relatives. So i dont know what to belive.? Is she faking this? God dam this guy is so good at what he does , I’ve listened to a few people online but wow , just so simple and effective . I’m in no contact with my ex now , took 10 weeks after the split to actually tell her we need to stop this cuddling , you cooking me meals , arm linking and chatting as though we haven’t broken up , she dumped me , didn’t see that coming , but no contact after a bit of crying and being emotional will ultimately decide where we both sit . She even offered to help me decorate my new house when I move into it , she loves me loads and wants the best for me . Ok thanks , see what happens
