Hugh - I'm stoked to hear your correct thoughts on diagonal or arcing shots with a motorized 360 camera platform. All testing we've done with our go.dingo RC camera platform confirm this. Arcs and diagonals look interesting in a RU-vid viewing experience, but are nausea inducing in a VR headset, or force the viewer's attention. Until watching this tutorial, I'd been scratching my head to try and find the method for adding a keyframe in Mistika VR. Boom. Right click on the parameter value. There it is. Awesome. Thanks again for another fantastic tutorial.

Hugh that Insta360pro stitch preset button is fantastic. I never get tired looking at it correcting the vertical parallax. I have begun reprocessing every one of my Insta360pro shots. Thanks for the heads up.

Second tho, not yet. They do release the press release but the update is not pushed yet. Pretty soon tho. My version is also not the final release.

Hugh! Once again, thank you so much. This video was exactly what I was looking for. I didn't know Mistika had the keyframing feature, so I thought I might need to buy both Mistika and Autopano, but it seems like Mistika will do everything I need for the Insta360 Pro. Thanks again for these tuts - don't know how I would figure any of this out without them. Do you have any plans to do a tutorial about matching spatial and lav mic audio using Facebook 360 Workstation? After I figure out how to work with this footage, that's going to be my next challenge.

So, it's best to stabilize the footage first, bake in the output camera, then set keyframes?

Yes. Stabilization creates keyframe as well.

Thanks, Hugh!!! Is the process the same if we do 3D video? In your video, we just need to choose 1 camera (i.e. P4). But if it is 3D video, what should we do?

You move stereo edge point. So I will switch between left and right view to make sure the animation of edge point will look good. So in Stereo - thing get more tricky. I should make a follow-up tutorial soon. Need more experience on Stereo keyframe under my belt first tho. Let me know if you find your way and tricks.

yes, Stereo is quite tricky. I still can't manage it, I can't do well even in stitching, but I am required to make Stereo video......... i will keep following your post and hope to learn!!

hi Hugh when i use the mistika vr to stich the video i always use improve offset and angle, but the stiching is not complete correct in different timeline, so i am trying to control the yaw pitch and roll of input cameras, but the problem is if i add keyframe for them , and then i will choose other frame in timeline and click improve offset, and then all the keyframe for in put cameras will be gone? so how can i adjust the offset and angles in different frame, to make sure that the video can stich well at short intervals. i mean the input cameras can also use keyframe function to adjust the stich, just like the output camera . thanks HUGH~

Hugh I notice that when I render a 360 3D photo in Mistika and export, the only option in jpeg produces a small file about 5mb. The rest of the formats produce huge files. Is there any option to produce a bigger jpeg file and secondly does it make a difference when viewing it in Oculus Go?

I will suggest submit a request to mistika? But I never use jpeg in Mistika - if I stitch with Mistika, I go with 16BIT TIFF b/c I am banking on post processing the photo - as that is the whole point using it anyway.
