Sadly there’s many ways to get & hide animals.

Just a court order and a piece of paper telling an animal abuser they can't own an animal is not enough. It's like a restraining order for stalkers - it's just a piece of paper unless it's aggressively enforced. And this man should be banned for life, not 5 years.

Evil is very calculating and caniving. People who approve of and participate in physical aggression DO NOT CHANGE. IT IS A PERSONALITY TYPE THAT CANNOT CHANGE. They see no reason to change. Violence is an approved and acceptable way of living. They lack empathy and a conscience . That does not change. LIFE LONG BAN ON THESE PEOPLE EVER OWNING PETS.JAIL SENTENCE MANDATORY FOR INFRACTIONS.

@@patriciastrassner4883 Not necessarily. It's comforting to think evil is only done by a special kind of person, it takes the pressure off the rest of us to acknowledge our own capacity to do wrong. But in reality, pretty much anyone can do evil if pushed in the right way. Most parents who beat their children, for example, actually love their children and want the best for them. But they've either convinced themselves that the pain of hitting is worth it (eg it'll make them better disciplined), or they've simply lost control over themselves. Shaken baby syndrome is most likely to happen to a baby with severe colic, who just won't stop crying and can't be soothed. A parent with little support who is kept awake for days by a screaming baby gets pushed to their limit and snaps. Lashing out doesn't necessarily mean that you lack a conscience. More often, it means you're losing control over your emotions under stress. And that can change depending on how much stress you're under and what coping skills you've learned.

The worst part for me was when he just walked away like it was nothing.

I believe that punishment should fit the crime. Abandon animals with no food and water when you move.. You get the same for as long. Beat you dog with fists x times, you get the same. Leave your animal chained outside in extreme heat or feezing temps... you get the same. The laws need to be enforced.

@@patriciastrassner4883 Do you know for sure that there have laws that protects all animals?.....bc they still have have slaughterhouses for farm animals and I think in some places they still condone 'wet' markets. I'm sure they protect animals better than in the USA but is it enough?.

I question that also. The punishment for neglecting/abusing ANY animal should be much more harsh. Ppl must be made to learn that hurting any animal comes with consequences . Hopefully some ppl will learn but, imo, most abusers are already set in their wicked ways and won't change 🤬

The British have the best animal welfare record in the world. It should be imitated everywhere.

Geramn Shepherds can definitely be extremest rebellious. Zues doesn't seem like a bad dog, so its hard to say.

Right? I had to look away for those video clips. I’d be awful in those situations because I’d march over there and beat the owner. I also would have stolen the dog from him too( it would be worth the charges). I can’t believe the ex owner of zeus said that he wasn’t beating him, just “yelling” at him, I’m so glad that he was being recorded. I hope they played that video to him over and over, and that he never gets a pet ever again. If you can’t handle a German shepherd or high energy dog, don’t get them. If you can’t correct a dog without beating it and yelling at it senselessly- don’t get a dog. People like this just make me so sad and angry.

Why TF would you get a beagle if you don't want them sniffing? Bad enough with any dog, but beagles are literally bred as scent hounds! To buy a dog bred for a specific purpose and then get mad at them for doing the behavior that fulfills that purpose is ridiculous.
