These interviews feel so different from the ones of yesteryear. They sound like their focus is how to make the game even more enjoyable, rather than they are right and if you don't like it you are wrong.

@@Archaeologist89 I think they have a lot more freedom doing fun stuff with events that are time limited than they do with the live game or even Classic. If some story plotholes or other stuff like that occurs or if a build is entirely busted it doesn't really matter all that much because it's just an event. In the live game they can't really do that because they have to think about the grand scheme of things a lot more.

they why is there not the choice to do lfr version of the raids?

These might be the continuation of the Classic versions. Mists followed Cataclysm. So, maybe Classic ends with Cataclysm and Retail starts with Mists. Which could mean in a year or two (leading up to next expansion) we will get Draenor Remix then Legion leading up to the third. Most players joining wow in the last year or 5 would have likely played Shadowlands onwards. The question is, if they did do this addition cycle would they stay up and running for people to *level up* alts using the time running expansion of their choice. Instead of chromie time walking as a levelling option.

well this did not last long... id say its borderline flop of an event. just finished my first 70 and cannot do any content because i just get 1 shot in everything

@@Archaeologist89 when SoO came out I was tanking in progression guild on day 1 and it was loads of fun. So it'll be fun to run all this old content again!

I believe they have buffed the drop rate of the Tusks, anyway. In ten years of trying I only had them drop once, and that was for my monk several years ago (obviously couldn’t learn the tmog on a monk)… but once they put the skip to Garrosh into the game, I got them twice: once on my shaman a few weeks after the skip was put in, and finally on my warrior several weeks later. Maybe I just got lucky, but I had hundreds if not thousands of Garrosh heroic and mythic kills prior to the skip and only saw them that one time on my monk.

Siege currently has a daily reset, too. Adding it to the Bronze vendors is almost more like bad luck protection.

but the thing is, doing that would be like opening Pandora's Box. players in MoP strived for their Cloaks and their Challenge Mode sets, if it was given away now in the manner that you speak of, why would anyone strive for ANYTHING in the future when it can just be gotten later for virtually no effort. THIS is why Blizzard has stood against this and firmly said NO, you missed out on those things and they should not be given to you when you're not struggling to the degree those players did a decade prior, and they cant just initiate M+ in Mists Remix, so to make you struggle they'd have to put you in like equal to M20s and they just had no time in order to install and tune the MoP instances for M+, only one location is M+ and it's not nearly tuned enough.

@@UltimateGamerCC It's a game, players should strive to have fun and enjoy the content. Just because I clear CE and get a mount doesn't make me salty when someone solo kills it years later and gets lucky. Even if it was 100% drop chance for them they didn't get to have the experience of progging the raid and playing the raid. Experiencing raids on release and expansions when they are current is the most rewarding thing you can do and it's a shame that people have to miss out on it because of players who think an item they earned 10 years ago is the holy grail.

@@ShimoKuma but you need to understand, the reason that they arent budging on certain stuff like Mage Tower and Challenge Mode stuff is not for that reason but to preserve the fact that stuff you strive for in game may not be attainable again and if they put stuff like that up for easy obtainability, then no one will strive for anything, knowing that they can get it easier if they just wait.

Raid bosses are somewhat tricky in that people could solo the bosses on certain classes but could not solo the trash to get to them. Trash is generally harder because of the multiple mobs with fewer cheeseable mechanics.

@@willythemailboy2 Still - it did happen back in the day. If I remember correctly a Warlock solo'ed at least the first two bosses and the trash leading to them back in the day. As for the bosses - since both have an enrage timer he had to fight them in enrage a long time but still managed to do that.

The good recolours too. People have wanted the blue eyes since forever.

From the way they phrased it it seems like your alts won’t actually inherit the cloak stats from your main. So getting 1000% exp on your main’s cloak after 65 is kind of pointless.

You understand that it is using dragonflight versions of classes right? If you're expecting mop pvp, you'll be incredibly disappointed

Y I think the PvP won't be affected. It was supposed to be a PvE event.

Too much, now tusks are gonna be everywhere. Kind of a middle finger to the hard-core players that spent years grinding for them.

@Zero-ge4vb no idea how its gatekeeping when it's still farmable. I get increasing drop rate for the 3 rare shoulders drops but making them easy to get people spent years trying?

@TheBulge Years, that's the key point here. It's taken some folks years, and they still don't have the Tusks. This provides an alternative. If that bothers you, then don't do it.

The rewards aren't casual either so good. Honestly shouldn't even be 1 per kill on mythic, should be a chance per so you actually have to grind the kill for a large part of the event. This was disrespectful to the tusk grinders.
