Dan and KO on SportsCenter took it back to the purest time at ESPN and actually made me miss watching SportsCenter every night and a lot of mornings on repeat for four hours
i guess im asking the wrong place but does someone know of a tool to log back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid forgot my login password. I appreciate any tips you can give me.
@Elliot Jordy I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and im in the hacking process now. Seems to take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Dan and Keith were must see TV. People worked their schedules around and switched from shows they were watching to catch Dan and Keith from the beginning. People subscribed to basic cable just for them. The show Sportsnight was based on Dan and Keith's brillance, which was evident to people outside the sports arena.
Dan and Keith had something, a rapport, a meeting of two minds that mesh, with humor that bounces off from one to the other, that has not been replicated. SportsCenter with Keith Olbermann and Dan Patrick was the GOAT of ALL SPORTS SHOWS that came before or after it. I love Dan and the Danettes. The BEST sports show today followed by The Rich Eisen show. But DADADA...DADADA...with Keith and Dan was the BEST SPORTS SHOW EVER.
Dan for us 22 and younger who live in the State of Connecticut, Friday night was magical, as we’ve heard the stories and have seen the clips but never saw the actual thing. The reality of Friday night was that it was awesome for me to witness the magic that was once the best sports television ever. It’s the best SportsCenter broadcast -- albeit that SVP is awesome on a nightly basis -- since Stuart Scott died.
You guys are a part of my college and fun days. Thank you. I love the good old days. I wish I could tell you how much you guys influenced a whole generation. I was a college baseball player and we lived on sportscenter!
Best part of Sports Center was DP and KO! No question! Lived for it every night! Just a natural tandem! And worked to perfection! Stewart and Rich were close 2nd. Thanks to the both of u getting through those college nights!👍👍
THIS IS Sports Center for me. grew up with this dynamic Duo... Your voices was the reason I tuned in. Thanks for the memories and for the return! I was floored!
Seeing you guys all on stage was the best part of the day. The great stories made for great memories, old and new. Best celebration in my 40 years at ESPN.
Dan Patrick and Keith Olbermann on Sportscenter was the highlight of my Sunday night, enjoyed those two very much the way they played off each other, these were two guys that you could walk up in a bar and have a couple beers with, the saying that I will always remember is the one (insert player name here) is day to day but then again aren’t we all 😂
When I was a young man, Sports Center was one of my go to’s when I turned on the TV, Dan & Keith helped me unwind after a long day. I haven’t watched ESPN since the “great reset.”
When I was in High School in the early to mid 90's, Dan Patrick and Chris Berman not to mention Kenny Mayne were staples on ESPN and Sportscenter... Good old days...
My favorite line/catchphrase came from when Dan Patrick and Kenny Mayne worked together and someone from the Milwaukee Brewers hit a home run and Kenny yelled..."Bring me your finest meats and cheeses"!
When ESPN was SPORTScenter and the anchors were the ENTERTAINMENT. They were the personalities. We watched for them as much as we did the highlights. That era will never be touched. Never
A great moment in television history. Without a shadow of doubt, this TOPS the Mash finale, the walking on the moon and The Miracle on Ice Brings back old memories of the Dynamic Duo Well done Dan and everyone involved! Especially your wife, she was right...once again :)
Self absorbed to the max, it’s a good example of how not to be. You’re liked Dan, especially by yourself. Thanks for the insight: I, I, I... Mrs Patrick is a Saint indeed.
@Sam Forbes Amen. Patrick does the same thing when he has Adam Sandler on his show. Talking about the fun THEY HAD making a crappy movie. Just do the sports and tell us things we want and need to know. Inform and entertain, don't do a career self-fulfillment segment where you drool over the "glory years" when you "revolutionized" sports. Dude, you read highlights.
I miss seeing you and KO on the big show and it's not same. Yes I know things change but I can't describe what I watch on sportscenter now. But thanks for memories. You rock pal.
I knew it was live. I figured it would either be Dan and Keith for the 40th Anniversary SportsCenter or Bob Ley and Chris Berman. But Berman does the opening MNF game every year so I figured it would be Dan and KO
@@tonysasser2012 Research and talk about SPORTS. Strange concept, I know, but I don't want to hear his co-workers gush over how great he is and how touching it was for him to go to a reunion FOR A EFFIN SPORTS NEWS SHOW.
Also Kenny mayne, Linda Cohen, and rich eisen. I miss the shit outta Sunday night NFL prime time. The highlights, analysis, and the music!!!!!!! Chris berman and Tom Jackson came on, it’s wrap. 💯
All star cast at. CNN Hannah Storm,Gary Miller, Fred Hickman,Dan Hicks,Nick Charles,Craig Sager,Keith Olbermann Jim Huber they were the best ,espn couldn’t compare
22 minutes talking about how important you are. Does Letterman gush about how meaningful his departure was? Just be funny and smart, do a reunion, get back to work. Bragging not needed
T R Sorry, I forget some people need life to be literal. Here you go, buddy: Does Colbert talk about how important the Colbert Report was to society? (He hosts a new daily show.) Is the analogy clear to you now?
I respect Dan Patrick, he's the best at what he does. But this stuff...this self-reverential, egomaniacal focus on the years at ESPN, it's tiresome. I don't care. And here's a newsflash Dan P --- few people care about the feelings of the people at ESPN and the inner workings of a sports network. It was a highlight show, groundbreaking yes, but that's all it was: a highlight show. These folks in the media, you really live in a bubble where you think what you do and how you do it is so important. It's not. Just give us the content. Do great interviews. Provide informative analysis. That's what you do best. I do not care about you getting behind the SportsCenter desk and the story of how it impacted everyone. It's self-aggrandizing and embarrassing.
wow, you're a fuckin asshole dude. how the fuck do you know how Dan and Keith affected people? Do you speak for everyone? Or just the ass hats like yourself? There are celebrities / content creators / Twitch streamers that hear everyday how them being a presence online or on TV helped saved their lives from depression or suicidal thoughts. You started off by saying you respect DP, but you quickly erased any doubt from the readers' minds that you actually do. Go fuck yourself dude, you sad loser who thumbs up'd your own comment.
