This is my favorite version of this song. The contrast in voices is beautiful. Peter in the higher tenor ranges & then paired with the true natural bass voice of Tim. And that last dragon's breath note is truly remarkable & how long he sustains it. Peter & Tim have collaborated on quite a few other songs & they are all beautiful. Peter is a master at layering voices. Peter & Tim have done "Sound Of Silence", "Bridge Over Troubled Water", "Greensleeves", "Fire & Rain", "Sunshine On My Shoulders", "Teach Your Children" & "You Can Close Your Eyes". All are excellent!

Tim Foust (like ow), is a natural bass but can sing up to tenor. He is a member of Home Free, a well known Acapella group. Peter has a large vocal range as well. He has done and arranged songs with upwards of 120 parts.

I think the lyric you were thinking of at the beginning of your video is from I See Fire, probably my favorite of Peter Hollens' numbers. Peter's songs are a cappella but he is the master of layering. He may record a song over and over to have dozens of layers of voice. Another one to check out is I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For by Tim Foust's group Home Free feat. Peter Hollens. It was done during the quarantine, with each guy in separates places near their homes in at least 3 different states. Oh, and Foust is said with an "ow" sound.
