When I win my first acting award, I will thank Lana Parrilla for having her guide me through overcoming my stage fright.
This hilariously comical, yet heartwarming experience has made me wholeheartedly want to pursue acting again. I am a storyteller in many disciplines (art and writing too), but acting has always been my dream. It is surreal how such a strong, talented, beautiful actress took the time to briefly mentor me. I will forever be grateful!
Seriously, Lana, from one Italian-American New Yorker to another, thank you for helping me get over my stage fright. You gave me the confidence to pursue acting as a career as if it is a reality. You're an amazing acting mentor and teacher; in return, I WILL make be an outstanding protege and pupil. I hope to be known as one of her proteges and pupils. "No second rate queen getting kicks with a crown" over here! Grazie!
