There is a mistake at 55:23. Pij corresponds to the pairwise similarity in high dimensional space, not new (low) dimension distance.

There is a mistake at 43.30. The Frobenius norm of the approximation error is not sigma_{k+1}, it is (\sigma_{k+1}^2 + ... + \sigma_{r}^2)^{1/2}. If the induced 2-norm was used instead, then the approximation error would be \sigma_{k+1}.
