And may perpetual light shine upon you. It something about the misteries of life even though we only see and feel his presence when we pray, in private. But he's at work in our hearts and thoughts 24-7. Always keep the faith M.G.
About 12 or 13 years ago I met mitch green on the E train we rode to the last stop and talked a lot about boxing , drug addiction. He lived in queens at that time . He was just a nice guy and almost everyone recognized him and called him champ, he was very proud of that and i was glad to see people respect and honor him in this way.
@lightning_Fire248 hate to disappoint you. This is mitch blood green. If it's not , then it's my mistake. I talented to mitch green on the E train years ago, and this man looks like him without the long hair he had at the time. I could be wrong, but I doubt it.
@@alfrazier8389 Are u kidding? Read the notes under the video. The man who posted the video says it's not the boxer. He should know because it is his video. Damn
@lightning_Fire248 Don't get bent out of shape about my commet. Like I said I met mitch green. I haven't seen him since. It may not be him. But to me it looks like him without all the hair he had at the time. But if it's not him , then it's not. There is no need to let small thing's agitate you. Even if it's not him, when I met Mitch he was layed bk . He didn't have his life together at that time , but I hope he has it together now. Damn
Plus challenged prime mike Tyson to a street fight , got half his face broken , and still called Mike Tyson a HOMO . Mike said he punched him several times he wouldn’t go down untill Tyson finally kicked him .
All these dudes commenting would have pissed their pants in either mitch green or tysons presence.. Mitch went the whole distance with a prime tyson and if he had a rematch who knows the result
@@mannyob7164 it LITERALLY says on here that its NOT Mitch "blood" Green!! Completely normal and simple name and I'm sure theres probably more mitch greens that live in New York then just them 2 but if you look at him he dont even lok like like blood at all! That's Not Him! Lol😅😅
@Mickey Mick and @Josh Irvin Whenever somebody tries to turn their life around there is always somebody that wants to see them go to back to their old days. Maybe you both should ask yourselves why it bothers you to see Mitch 'Blood' Green get his life together and instead of trash talking him, let him inspire you to devote your lives to the Lord's word so your lives could also be better.
Mitch blood green is exactly the same as he used to be. This is just some random man named Mitch green Google his name go to his Facebook see Mitch green old and foul mouthed still This guy doesn’t resemble the boxer at all
@@oldironsides4107 This man is indeed Mitch 'Blood' Green. He has been lifted up by The Lord. Yes, he looks different now he's bald but this would be the case with most people.
My eyes watered while watching this. There's always light at the end of the tunnel but it's up to us to walk to the light and to embrace it. For Mitch to have changed like this he has always had a good heart..but like us all, have made some wrong choices. Seeing him now brings so much joy in my heart. He's at peace.
Yes, but we must all be reminded that it’s never a “complete turnaround” but rather, a change and then a struggle to stick to it. The reason Mitch is a good candidate, is he was actually very disciplined as a fighter to begin with, despite his reputation outside the ring, he showed he could do the work in the gym to win in the ring, and although drugs and alcohol had grips on him, if you really saw any calm interviews where he spoke more sober, you could tell he was intelligent and had a heightened sense of things. This man was merely a victim of poverty and a corrupt sport, but he proved he could be a ranked heavyweight boxer which is an achievement to be admired. Whatever his past, he reached levels billions of people on earth never do, so you can imagine if he actually did not come from poverty, and from a good home and a good neighborhood, this man could’ve been anything. Therefore it’s actually not that shocking to see him reformed
@@VolatileDisposition if he came from money he most likely wouldn't have been a boxer. His life is his life. Your surroundings hold no bearing on your decisions in life. Nobody that comes from money fights for a living. It's a tough way to make a living.
Mitch Green, I've always loved to see you box. You were always one of the best boxers of all time. You are a true champion both physically and spiritually. So many boxers never find Christ and despite their accomplishments in the natural, they can never be truly great in the eyes of God. You my brother are great because you are on God's winning side. I really enjoyed your testimony and am praying for you. May God continue to bless you and the many days ahead.
Jesus Christ is the way maker, miracle worker and promise keeper we all long to have in our hearts. I’ve been sitting here watching Mitch Green boxing matches and interviews. It makes my spirit so happy to see how God has redeemed this man’s life and softened his heart. I truly thank God to see this transformation. Whoever you are, whatever you’re going through, ask Jesus Christ to soften your heart and take your spirit higher than you could ever take it alone. God bless, Mitch! This vid got me choked up. Love seeing the transformation.
This is awe inspiring!!! I would’ve guessed Mitch would’ve been found dead not long after this. After researching him and finding this, WOW is all I can say. God Bless Mitch! You truly epitomize being born again.
I am astounded! Mitch was pretty far gone at one point, and to see him restored like this is very moving. I never would have guessed it--so good to see him doing well.
@@lightning_Fire248 -- OMG! Where does my OP say anything about the boxer? You've scampered around this comments section and corrected 3 different posters about this, Chicken Little--"The sky is falling! The sky is falling!". My reply is 2-years-old. Big deal!
Dont tell yourself a religion saved you. You've done that by yourself there aint no magic universe power that gave you the abillity to think you just got grown. Congratulations man be proud of yourself and everyone reading this!
This is so cool to see a tough guy like mitch and troublesome be changed into a clearly articulate mature wise respectable guy. Life is amazing! We really cant judge ppl only God knows their end and heart. Also he and mike tyson were rivals it'd be good to see them talk about the past in their maturity
More power to you Mitch, stay blessed. Not to many people on this earth could go through a situation like yours and come out on the other end as a better man. Much respect!!
God has surely blessed you Mitch I’m proud of you and I don’t even know you may God continue to bless you you continue doing good work in the name of Christ our Lord and Savior
If your from nyc I know your happy for Mitch I was on rollers island with him he’s a good dude drugs will break you down but the most high will build you up
How is this not viral? It's impossible to be a Mike Tyson fan and this not be jaw-dropping (pun unintended, but I'll claim it anyway). God bless this new man!
I had to watch this several times the transformation is incredible Mitch actually looks younger now compared to when he used to box glad his spirit is at peace
You give me hope Mitch. Through God… and where else in this whole world is there any hope? So what you have is a treasure of amazing value that you can pass on to those around you….
This is just more proof that it's never to late to better yourself. Just cause someone has had problems with drugs doesn't mean we should be so quick to cast them out as if there's no hope for them. There is always a way to better yourself. NEVER COUNT ANYONE OUT NO MATTER HOW BAD THEY HAVE BECOME.
A lot of people only remember him from the 80s as a crazed, drug-fueled, gangster, but Mitch Green was not a boxing joke, he was indeed a Ranked Heavyweight Contender who did in fact, go the distance with Tyson in his prime. The truth is he was not afforded the legendary techniques taught to Mike Tyson by the Great Cus D’Amato, Atlas and Cooney. If Mitch had access to that, he’d have been a champion for sure. Boxers do not come from good neighborhoods or a good homes
Tyson knows about this and mentions it on his podcast. He is very happy to know that Mitch has changed for the better. Good news is that they both have. 🤙🏽
I remember, see this man suffering cause of drugs on 125 st, and am so glad to see his change with watering, eyes, the only person that have no respect for mike tyson, lost that fight, after all those years fight with drug demons and now win, god blees you mitch, 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂✌
That made my day look what God can do for you..Amen if only you take time to find him..Seek and you shall find the path is narrow and very few find it becuz they look at evil instead turn that blue news off and seek the good news its true yes its true.
